NBA playoffs— anyone else watching?
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in Off the Wall
was going to post something similar. Absolutely brilliant move. OKC was sort of confused on D, and Halliburton was able to just roam around nicely to find his spot. If they had called a TO, odds are they double Halliburton, or even force another turnover on the inbounds. -
Taking what we want is also the American way! 🤣

Great decision by Carlisle not to take a timeout at the end.....they knew who the ball was going to, why give the Thunder a chance at setting up their D.

Here's the thing. Air Forces and drone swarms are great and all. However to sustain this war, Ukraine and Russia are operating conscription based recruiting regimes, feeding recruits into training programs with 4-12 week training cycles. They're sustaining the equivalent of 1-2 battalions per week KIA/WIA/MIA. Of course their are exceptions, like Azov or the VDV. How do the USMC or Army operate in an environment like this using the All-Volunteer model where every infantry recruit gets 16 weeks of just Basic. Nevermind specialist schools or AIT? How do you execute doctrine if your maneuver battalions depend on peacetime trained specialists, but are losing a squad or a platoon a day just sitting on the contact line?

Network pricing to watch all NFL games in 2025
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Either WATCH or DON'T WATCH. I lived in an era where you had black and white or cabinet color TV, 3 channels and rabbit ears, and you either watched a couple of Bills games and saw the rest on a highlight show or in the sports section so I'd say complaints are a reflection of how spoiled people have gotten. My God, enough... be glad you can at least have the OPTION TO WATCH every game from long distances. -
Why do you think that is? I post how cool I am. Then I post my moms X account that says I'm cool. I do that 4-5 time a day in every thread. Why would anybody come here for decent conversations or to discuss actual events? You keep minimizing this place saying nobody comes here and it's a cesspool. Yet don't see the connection with your behavior and why this place only has 12 posters and is a cesspool.

Trump/Elon Breakup Fallout
Joe Ferguson forever replied to Roundybout's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Everyone trump touches is diminished. Or are they? https://www.msn.com/en-us/politics/government/the-dark-maga-conspiracy-where-musk-destroys-trump-and-democracy/ar-AA1GceZh interesting read about the tech bros conspiracy to take over the government. More plausible than most conspiracies. -
PSL Pricing/Seat Selection Discussion
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Spiderweb's topic in The Stadium Wall
Look on the bright side, at least EA doesn't have exclusive rights for the stadium! That's a win! -
I'm on the waiting list - have been for 3 years now and wish I had thought to get seasons a year or two earlier The PSL is an investment - and as one of the earlier posters said, if you sell 2-3 games worth, you'll get your investment back pretty quickly Even though the prices are going up, the demand will still be there, and with decreased stadium capacity, it will stay there, even if the team declines Will the new stadium be better? In some ways - yes Will the new stadium be worse? In other ways - yes Those who don't like it, can stay home and watch on TV But I'm 50 years old, and I plan to attend every game I can before I can't any more You only live once

The NFL's one point play that isn't an XP.

The problem with that is that his salary is largely non-guaranteed for 2025. So if James Cook has an unfortunate jet ski accident, the Bills waive him with a non-football injury, and he walks away with $4.6M in earnings, closer to 2M after taxes/agents, and generational wealth is gone. He has a little bit of leverage now, which he is using, because his financial future is far from guaranteed. He should do whatever he can to get the most money possible, because it is what we would all do in his position.

Haven't read much of this thread so forgive me if it's been stated already, but this seems to be a clear window into how the 47 admin runs. Musk has his heart in the right place, but Stephen Miller has been chosen to drive this train because Trump values his demonstrated loyalty throughout the last decade over whatever exposure and money Elon provided in the last 11 months or so. Musk's inability to read a room combined with his (justified) head-banging frustration with Congress resulted in the tantrum we're seeing.

The stations in central New York all compress their signals to get more sub channels into the mix that it’s unwatchable over the air. Any movement causes pixelation. I end up watching networks via Hulu because the stream picture quality is so much better. They seem to change the app every season. The iPhone app that worked last season is no longer active. Hoping to find its replacement by the time the season starts.

We laugh now. I have faith in the Browns or Jets to do the unthinkable. And surrender a 1 point safety. -

Unless we know the 40 time and the 3 cone time for these trains it's not even worth trying to calculate. -
1- Click on the ellipsis in the upper right of your original post and it will give you a drop down menu with an option to "Edit". Click it. 2- In the Title field, type something like "Glad the Bills got their stadium approved before all the current pushback" so folks know what they're opening. 3- Sit back, relax and enjoy your soda bicarb.

I have one and it has been so helpful and fun. You can laugh at me I don't care I say having ALDI close by. I don't know how long they have been in business but new to me this year.

Agree with Hancock. He is roster lock. Last season Hamlin, Bishop, Rapp Edwards, and Lewis were on the intial 53. With Benford, Douglas, Johnson, Elam and Ingram I think there are more spots than you think. CB Benford, Hairston, White, Johnson and open could be Hancock or Hardy, Jackson, Ingram and Strong. S Rapp, Bishop and 3 spots could be Hancock depends what position he plays through camp preseason. If he takes Lewis that still leave 2 open spots. For Hamlin, Forest, Lewis, and possibly Owens. I get the numbers change each year but on a team that didn't have much roster turn over Safety and depth at Safety is the only real open competition on the roster. If a UDFA makes the roster its the likely only spot possible unless they find a return man.

I don't know what the Bills do in particular, but scouts are the grunts in the hierarchy. Long hours, low pay, endless travel.
