I've had the same thought: Early in the game, Allen sits down when Garret is near him, giving Garret the record and getting on his good side.

This is why you push to win your division. To host a playoff game. I really don’t know why have an issue with this. If this is such a problem, just get rid of divisions and do two conferences like the nba. And do 8 team playoffs. 1 vs 8. 2vs 7. So on, so on.

Debate Over: Drake Maye can’t hold Josh Allen’s jockstrap
K-9 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Do you appreciate the difference between being a quarterback and a passer? I repeat, it is unfair to Maye to compare him to Josh, Stafford, etc., as a quarterback. He simply doesn’t have the experience at this stage. Feel free to compare passing stats all you like, but we both know there is so much more to being a quarterback than that. -

Vrabel has always scared me as a coach. I respected him. Now i don't. What a clown. His comments are going to come back in the form of karma and he's going to wish he never said it. -

I think it's been widely reported that Josh pukes prior to virtually every game. When asked about it afterward he even said that apparently he didn't get it all out pre-game. -

He's a good coach, but he was the same whiny prick in Tennessee. It was surprising to hear that he is down to earth and fun with his players when you watch his sourpuss baby act on the sidelines. He has perpetual Lemonhead face. -

Someone should remind him that a blown non call at the end of the first game is the reason the Bills aren't leading the division right now. -

Despite this, the Bills are top 5 in 3rd down percentage. And are #2 in the last 3 games. https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/third-down-conversion-pct -

absolutely, but Bottom line is I would rather him blame the officials than look internally how his team gave up 5 second half TDs and were held to 7 points (on one big broken play) in the second half... -
i do too but calling TOs there, provided we got a stop, allowed for the possibility of a TD

NFL Network Replay of Bills - Patriots?
BADOLBILZ replied to BillsfaninSB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah @Ralonzo is right but I suspect it will be the 8pm game tonight on NFLN. The Donkos/Packers game was a bit of a barn burner too but the 21 point comeback should make Bills/Pats the most attractive re-watch I'd think. -

There was no dpi call on that play. It was ruled a catch by Buffalo. End of story. You didn't catch the GameDay thread and you must not have watched the game either.

We're starting to see the guy that blew his shot in Tennessee and why they decided to move on from him Good coach, but things like this don't serve him or his team well, and it likely doesn't go over well with ownership, I'd imagine This gives me hope that he's got real flaws in his mentality and that we will be able to expose him in future matchups -
Is Josh the main reason we win (particularly in close games)? Yes. Was Tom Brady the main reason the Pats won so much? Was Mahomes the main reason K.C. won so much? Was Marino the main reason for the Dolphins to win so much? Was Rodgers, Montana, Manning, Elway, etc., etc. Yes. Kind of comes with the territory of being a top-10 All-time QB. That's why those guys are those guys. You always count on your star players to come through for you in the clutch (no matter what sport). Is Josh the only reason we win (because our FO, Coaching staff, and roster all suck)? Absolutely not. There are 90+ people involved. No matter how good that one player is, he is not the only reason. Plenty of top 10/elite QBs have missed the playoffs over the years (and some never won a SB). Josh is not doing it on his own. -How do you ignore Cook and being the #1 rushing team in the league as help? Cook has 399 yards from scrimmage and 3 TDs over the last 3 games. I bet a lot of teams would like a guy averaging 133 yards and a tuddy per game (on the year he is averaging 120 yards and almost 1 TD/game). And Davis and Johnson aren't too shabby either. Both are ballin'. -How do you ignore having a top-offensive line as not having help. -Are we weak at receiver? Sure, but over these last two comeback wins (and since Kincaid's return), our TEs have had 217 yards and 4 TDs. Our TEs are second in the league in yards and TDs by TEs. Seems helpful. And over the last three games, the defense has had 5 sacks, 12 QB hits, 11 TFLs, 4 Ints, 4 FFs, 1 FR (5 total TOs in 3 games), and they scored two touchdowns (14 points). No help? Yes, they gave up yards and points to two very good teams/QBs in the Bengals and Pats, but they also came up clutch at the end of those games (as people have been clamoring for the defense to do for so long). Bosa helped close the game out with his deflection of Maye's pass on Sunday. And no matter how big the "S" is on Josh's chest, do we come back against Cincinnati without the two late interceptions and defensive TD? I don't think so. Pittsburgh's lasts six offensive possessions went like this: End of half, Fumble, INT, Punt, Downs, End of game. Cincinnati's last six offensive possessions were: Punt, Punt, TD, Int, Int, TD. New England's last six offensive possessions were: FG, Punt, Int, TD, Punt, Downs So, last 18 possessions (basically a little more than the 2nd half of each game) for three teams to close out the games: 24 points, 9 drives (50%) ended in a punt or on downs, 5 drives (28%) ended in a Bills takeaway, while only 4 of 18 drives (22%) ended up in points for the other team. And if 24 points still seems like a lot for three teams over 6+ quarters, then let me just point out that on 18 possessions, if the other team scored a FG on each (but no TDs), they would still have 54 points. Even if they scored only a FG on half of their possession (no TDs), they would still have 27 points. Josh has plenty of help despite the overblown and overused narrative. Would it be nice to have a stud receiver for Josh? Yes. Do we have no talent on the roster to help Josh without a stud WR? No. First of all, more often than not over his career, those defensive timeouts have worked out, getting a critical defensive stop at a crucial point of a game. If you don't understand that it helps to see how the offense is lining up and what play you think they are going to run, I don't know what to tell you. Also, even if they change the play because they already showed you too much, then you got them to get out of the initial play that they thought would work best. Yes, if they call a timeout because of too many men on the field or a bad alignment or substitution or whatever, that's totally on the coaches. But when he uses them strategically on defense, I'm good with it. It may have happened once or twice, I really can't recall one off the top of my head though, where using that TO cost us not having it at the end of the game---but if so, it is rare. And as others have noted, it's not just about losing your timeout, it's about possibly losing a challenge that could be needed on a more important play at a more crucial moment later on.

obama? are we really going back to obama? the only thing i remember in this respect with obama was that it was the first time i heard of "fake news" and remember trump saying he wanted to see the birth certificate because he was insistent he wasn't from the us. biden was out of his mind. none of this has anything to do with what trump tweeted. i'm not outraged by this, but i think when we see someone that runs our country thinks it's ok to say that a man was murdered because he had tds, we can raise an eyebrow and take note. this wasn't normal, so let's stop the blaming. people need to take accountability of their own nonsense. what he said was insane, and people are either going to be disgusted, agree with him, or defend him just because he's trump. so you don't think what he said was completely insane for a president to say? why defend it.

I can't stand Coleman, he seems like he has an entitled attitude, but that was an awesome block, textbook block driving his legs through the entire block. Will never be called a hold when it's blocked like that. However that was his moment. -
In real NFL terms, requiring your QB and offense to rip off 5 straight TDs to win a game disqualifies your defensive performance. Allen and co are completely taken for granted. The standards are not the same. McD’s standard is only allow 31 points instead of 35 and we’ll call it a triumphant performance. Allen and the offenses’ standard is “score a TD every time you touch the ball to give us a chance to win the game at the end.” It’s legitimately Stockholm syndrome at this point.
