  1. Past hour
  2. Coaching is the reason we won in every phase of the game. Brady called a good offensive game and his squad executed. The defense was seriously banged up and still got stops and a pick against a more talented and (mostly) healthy Andy Reid/Pat Mahomes offense.
  3. damn your reasonable take!!! Ed Oliver, I’d be surprised if he comes back for us even for the playoffs. But we’ll see.
  4. I'm pry taking the Bills next weekend and I'm terrified.
  5. Nothing that close to the bills losing virtually their entire linebacker room a couple years ago and being forced to get essentially a retired vet to cancel his Disney vacation to fill in has happened to the chiefs in the playoffs. Not even sure it’s debatable. Of course that’s just one of the four times though lol benford/rapp getting hurt this past year forcing in absolute clowns was a very bad break and had a huge impact on the game but that’s gotta be a bit of a depth issue too. Losing two DBs definitely shouldn’t cause that big of a falloff. Of course you can’t have great depth everywhere either though so there is a bit of luck involved
  6. Suck an egg, ESPN. Only us fans are allowed to talk crap about our favorite team.
  7. Yeah this totally happened today - dad brain Josh lol. How about some guys go through streaks, without some weird conspiracy reason/checking a box. So much being poured into "Josh doesnt look like himself", it must be something outside of football. How about Josh shoots it straight in press conferences and says hes been off on reads/rushing his footwork. I'd say he checked another box by beating Mahomes again - pregnancy theories aside.
  8. What a difference McDermott has made. Bishop has looked like the athletic safety prospect we thought we landed.
  9. I said, “he still sucks.” I said nothing about “today.” No negative emotions from me. I’m thrilled. McDermott calling the defense has them in a much better place. They have looked prepared the last 2 weeks. He uses terrible defensive timeouts and they struggle on 3rd & 4th down. He’s been horrendous vs. KC in the playoffs. All of that is true.
  10. The best we've looked in the trenches on both sides.
  11. O line D line 24 Fans?? The crowd sounded amazing on TV!! GO BILLS
  12. Thanks Virg, always my favorite post of the week. Loved sending the pressure as well on the last play. About time. Bishop and Hairston made a HUGE difference today. Bosa and Hoecht as well. Shame we lost Mike for the season. Josh, Kincaid and Cook absolutely make this offense roll. When Cook is on, everything else just falls into place. Fun game to watch today. Go Bills!
  13. I don't even understand what you're complaining about. The timeouts they took were necessary because of personnel issues, not because he just took them to take them. Would you have preferred a penalty on the defense that would've given KC the first down on the KC FG attempt? Using the timeouts didn't bite them. Could it potentially have? Yes, but it didn't. So you're complaining about something that didn't matter anyway. Yep, I don't think it was even in question they were just going to be running the ball, so they should've already had a play ready to go. Don't rush the FG attempt. Didn't help the FG team didn't seem to have urgency getting on the field.
  14. We gotta stop defining games we win by TD+ as "barely won" on this board. Hail Marys have a very low success rate, and surviving two of them is going to happen 95+% of the time. Other teams are often going to have chances to not just roll over and die, that's just how the league is.
  15. As I said previously, when the Bills best is required, we typically get it.
  16. I watched the game with my son and 15-month-old Grandson. He needed help as his wife had to scramble to get a flight out of town today. So, I hopped in the car and drove the hour to his house. Nice day for just the guys watching football. My son laughs because I get so down on McDermotts D, the D Time-outs, etc I used very "colorful" language after the 4th and 17 play in front of the toddler🤣 My son reminded me..."Dad, it's Mahomes".
  17. I was a huge fan of him watching his videos in the offseason, then how he played in the preseason, and how he has played since finally coming back. In this game he was already calling the defense! And now, pouf, gone for the year. WT H. I'm like in denial, as it if it won't happen somehow. It sucks. A dim on an overall awesome victory.
  18. THIS. Kicking the field goal was the right call imo. But the timeout on 3rd and 7 was criminal. Save if for the kick is right...jesus
  19. “How do we dominate and it comes down to a hailmary?” We basically won in every phase of the game……except coaching. Too many bonehead decisions. 🤷‍♂️
  20. One difference I did notice this game versus the others was that he hung in the pocket longer. The trust in the blocking seemed to be back and he was awarded with that patience with multiple receivers (usually TEs) uncovering down the field.
  21. I have to say it was fun seeing CEH out there. That dude is terrible!
  22. The Billls used their last timeout on the previous play when they didn’t have to. Should have saved it for the kick…
  23. I have to say: I can't fully express the relied I feel at finally getting a bunch of the younger players going. While there are some disappointments (c'mon Keon) this finally feels like the Kincaid and Bishop we were supposed to get when we drafted them. Hairston has immediately contributed and when you factor in the lottery hits that are Walker and Hawes the team is getting a young core again.
  24. The bills have only lost by more than 7 points a few times in like 3 years lol Good teams don't lose by multiple scores usually
