  1. Past hour
  2. The Old Man Kicker game
  3. Well yeah, he did great. Prater is also 41 and at the end of his career as it is. No need to vilify the kicker you do have I’m not saying you need to keep Bass, but making a decision based on one game, is pretty silly
  4. The man is about as veteran as you can get. He’s drilled tons of Game Winners, once held the record for longest Field Goal, has kicked in all kinds of weather. A 30 yarder is a walk in the park for a guy like that. If the Bills do decide to keep him, what’s his distance particularly in bad weather games and can he kick for an entire season before fatigue sets in on his leg
  5. Loved Josh's post game interview saying they noticed fans leaving "We saw fans leaving in the 4th. Thats ok. We'll be ok. Just have faith"
  6. He played very well, but this thread was the first thing I thought of when he got rolled to the dirt by that Ravens DB
  7. CONGRATULATIONS!!! I remember being less than 10 years old and changing the channel on the old black & white TV with my toes since there were no remotes just to watch OJ run oh so pretty on an otherwise oh so crappy Bills teams. So that means I am die hard Bills fan for over 50 years. Do I win a prize in this dick measuring contest?
  8. Lamar is awesome. Josh being a HOF talent doesn't mean we should find reasons to bash Lamar. Lamar and Josh are the top 2 in the league at this point and I pretty much consider them equals (obviously, I prefer Josh). Kudos to both guys as they have continually shut up their early detractors/doubters.
  9. McDermott needs a lot of credit...that wrestler personality of never allowing your shoulders to be pinned to the ground for 3 seconds is the exact personality this Bills team has in these situations...scrapping, clawing, never giving up, never allowing the other team a moment of respite...
  10. Ed and Benford are probably it on defense. But I can see a few of our Oline guys starting over there.
  11. lmao he really was a tub o' lard at the end there wasnt he
  12. The Ravens were the better team last night but the Bills won. The Bills were a bit like KC a couple seasons ago who kept pulling out improbable wins week after week to earn the #1 seed. I have no desire to see the Bills face the Ravens again in the playoffs.
  13. The OP is right, spotting has been horrendous. Not sure if this is league wide or not, but the one at the end of the game, even the ref in the booth was saying (in kind words) that the refs really messed up. Also, MCD needed to challange that spot. Almost cost us the game. He was standing right there.
  14. Harbaugh always seems to get a pass, but dude has had top defenses and offenses and two franchise QBs back to back. He’s had two MVP campaigns from Lamar and now Derek Henry. He’s has coached in 1 AFC title game since 2012 and has 13-11 record in the playoff with all of that. He’s also apparently one of the most conservative coaches in the league. As soon as they lined up to punt instead of asking their 2x MVP to get 3 yards, I knew they’d lost
  15. Has anyone rewatched this game yet? My blood is boiling watching what looks to me like a pretty clear flowers drop with under 2 minutes to go in the first half that was seemingly not even reviewed. I don’t see much talk about it though so maybe I’m crazy lol collingsworth was like ‘yea he got it’ and I must not have been looking super close watching it live and completely missed it 😂. Might’ve cost us 4 extra points…should’ve been plenty of time for a td
  16. The Ravens OC knows how to destroy a smallish nickel Defense, just run Henry down their throats and then just for fun, run Jackson. Maybe for games against the Ravens, dump the Nickel for a 3rd DT and play a 5 man line, at least it would be unexpected.
  17. I think that role just increased its IQ by 100
  18. Media speak is what that is. Not every team takes advantage of the opportunity.
  19. "Prater is greater" sounds nice, but if Bass can get healthy, I'm fine with him returning.
  20. Bernard and Milano were both horrible. Half the time they were still moving around confused at the snap of the ball. They spent the entire game either over pursuing, making the wrong read, or getting swallowed up by blocks. Bernard in particular looked completely gassed, like he was out of shape. Just an awful game for both of them.
  21. Anderson only got 3 snaps so must be either gameplan or Hawes had taken his role
  22. The Bills are now a team like the Chiefs that have that Championship mentality and can just will themselves to victory in games that sometimes they should have no business winning. Someone had an interesting comment in the gameday thread that I think would be interesting to dive into a little further. The comment was that if the Ravens and Bills combined rosters, there would only be like 2 or 3 Bills starters. Hell, some people would make the case that even Allen wouldn't start over Lamar. So who do you think on the Bills roster would get a spot over their Raven's counterpart on the depth chart? For me it's Josh Allen, Spencer Brown, Ed Oliver. Maybe Benford and maybe Shakir or Coleman over Bateman. That's probably it.
  23. Keon looked like he did pre-injury, and was in the right place at the right time numerous times. Great routes, great hands and ball concentration. Palmar looked great for his first Bills game. Still wish we had a downfield burner, perhaps Moore becomes that. Would like to see more targets downfield early in the game to open everything up.
