5 or 6 tournament seed works for me. I would rather be away at a warm weather/dome site to let the offense cook. going to Denver or Pats round 1 would probably not be good. Although, if the roster is healthy again and they don't turn it over, not sure who beats us. JA17 is our super power; if the roster around him is healthy come tournament time, watch out.

They had the worst special teams in nfl history im pretty sure haha there were so many close games where they gave up a punt return td or had a fg blocked etc

Between the Jaguars, Colts and Texans I think Houston wins that division mainly because of their defense. It's going to be fun to see who wins the AFCS being it's a very close race.

Thanks for posting. I had the opportunity to golf with him at an event and after hearing some of the horror stories of his younger days I wasn't quite sure what to expect. To my delight he was awesome in his character and it was one of the best times I had at these events.

Flacco low key went off though sometimes and their defense was still terrible to be fair they scored 30+ a handful of times with flacco to the point where people started to murmur burrow maybe was overrated 😂

everyone is worried about the Patriots and talking about how great they are. Sun tzu said it best. worry about yourself first. the patriots are gonna be slapped around next year when reality sets in, the new wears off, and the #1 division schedule rears its head.

The biggest issue is we don't have the tie-breaker against Houston. If we are tied with Houston on W/L record, they will be the higher seed. Secondly, it is also possible that the AFC South will beat each other up and their records will be no different than the AFC north winner and hence it will be a toss up between them for the #3 and #4 seed. There are too many meaningful games to make a call on us being the 4th seed or us playing the AFC North. The only thing that seems to be locked right now is that the Patriots and the Broncos could be #1 and #2. The other problem is that we unlikely win on the road in Baltimore. It is a super tough place to play. I would rather have the shot to play the Jones led Colts or the Prince led Jaguars.

Should probably add Montana and Bradshaw to that list, though they are kind of "old school" era. But agree with you overall.

2.5 seasons running this style of offense isn't partly by accident at this point because, despite a lot of evidence to the contrary, it's what they believe works. They also have a historic habit of overestimating their WR group and then act surprised when those guys can't get it done. Not to mention, they've poorly/under invested in WR going back to about 2021. This year it was expecting Coleman to become a boundary receiver primarily because he was their pick. Or, expecting paying Shakir to become more than a RAC guy who could be a true slot. Or, expecting Kincaid to improve (he has) but remain healthy (he hasn't). Or, expecting Josh Palmer to be a WR2/3 type. And to a lesser extent, expecting Moore to be better than the Cleveland version of himself or Samuel to be the player he no longer is apparently. Has to change in the off-season, but it's McD and Beane and their stubbornness is legendary at this point. Until then, yeah...all they can do is lean in and go with it.

Nobody hates McD, that’s just a creative path people use to dismiss the opinions of those that think this regime, Beane included, is fairly average if not worse. Surely such opinions have to be personal and irrational. The whole thing is boring. This team looks like a floating turd in a punch bowl with people hanging onto to hopes that somehow we alter what has occurred like clockwork for multiple seasons and actually perform better in the playoffs. Which we can’t. It’s as laughable a notion as saying the Cowboys will just click in the postseason. Bahaha….man, fear, fear, and more fear. Nobody leave the house. A bad thing could happen.

Those are not bad stats either. On Defense: I think the points against is in part on the offense due to turnovers. Clean those up and the points against will improve. Whether the D to date is judged based on being eighth in yards or twelfth in points - both stats are describing a similar defense. If the defense can be a top 10 unit in both yards and points -- a true top 10 that passes the eye test -- we may be on to something. The comments about "which team shows up" being important I think are spot on - we need to be consistent on defense and fix the offensive mistakes and develop a passing philosophy that works given our limitations at WR (more to the backs, more to TEs - especially once Kincaid is back). Loved seeing Cook and Ty Johnson in the backfield at the same time. Defense seems to be coming together a bit.

When the jumbotron operator ended a massive cup war after Guns N Roses was notoriously 2 hours late (again) for their headlining set after Metallica had finished playing as, by pure happenstance, they panned to a woman who was on someone's shoulders and she flashed the camera. It instantly went from cup war to "flashfest". Prior to that, I'm pretty sure I suffered a concussion from a 24 oz cup packed full with ice with lid intact being thrown like a missile from the 300s. Maybe not favorite... but one of the most memorable.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss and I hope the game is a fun win and brings some happiness to your family. Do you recall details of the last game you attended at The Ralph? As others have pointed to, the Bills gotta stop turning the ball over, which is to say Josh has to play a cleaner game than he's been playing. The Bills have to hold serve in this one. So you think the Bengals have adequately supported Burrow? Are you expecting a Bills loss? Maybe the most positive thing to come out of last week's game was that Ray Davis finally broke his sophomore slump. It looks like he's been watching Cook and has a better understanding of where the openings are going to be. It was also nice seeing Ty Johnson look like last year with that 20 yard reception. The Bills have needed more from their backup running backs... I'm not comfortable with an over reliance on James Cook. Plus both teams are coming off bad losses. It should be hard fought if nothing else. Week 14 would be the perfect time for Josh to start protecting the ball better and the team as a whole to start peaking. It's the stretch run! Okay.
