  1. Past hour
  2. Agree there were so many tackles missed by the D it wasn't Knorwood's fault he should have never been in that position in the first place given all the opportunities they had to stop the Giants .
  3. Her smoking a blunt would ruin that picture lol And who the hell even thinks like that
  4. I have been working in the energy industry (specifically energy efficiency) for over ten years and have reached a point where I genuinely don’t like it. I stated in lighting, which I was good at, I enjoyed the people I worked with etc. then Covid hit and people moved on and eventually I did too. I took a semi management type position with a tech startup that was good for a while but they made it clear they were going to force everyone to relocate to Denver so I took my current job. I was hired to take on a very specific contract and the work was exactly what I was comfortable doing and I enjoyed it. My second child was born when I started this job and I was making the best money of my career. About a year later (a year ago) I was told rather abruptly that my company didn’t do some paperwork properly (before I was even hired) and I was now no longer eligible to work on the contract (govt contract) so once that ended I was doing some random work on projects, but the work we were doing wasn’t really in my skill set, we bid on and won a few contracts that I was working on but they haven’t worked out like the company hoped (not enough work essentially). A few weeks ago my boss called me and told me that he’s just not sure there’s going to be enough work in my current role and to “take care of myself”. He suggested talking to HR and seeing if there was a different role at the company I might be suited for. I looked and nothing seems like a fit. I’m also getting the vibe, that something is off. I worried they are are going to let me go, maybe not in the next few weeks, but by year end. Essentially, I am tired of feeling like a square peg in a round hole and wondering if I would be better off in a new field. Has anyone ever done a late 30s career change? How did it work out? I applied to a bunch of jobs in the last few days to protect myself, but if anyone is hiring…
  5. Love the 4th&schlong flip.it links While Finding and Bullstojan go for the ever reliable Politico, 4th lays down his schlong and says oh yeah.....? AlterNet baby!
  6. yea, we are all hoping for a step forward but I’ll add that bishop and Coleman are currently fringe starters in position groups desperately lacking starting talent nonetheless. They likely wouldn’t start in many many buildings
  7. Knox is a Bill through & through I hope he can play out his career with the team !! He's always there when you need him and is always contributing some way some how, & even if forgotten for a minute coaches can be reminded just what a weapon he is just by throwing to him in clutch time . I could see him wanting to go to the Titans but he will always be a Buffalo Bill in my eyes . He came from a college where he was the underdog for getting the ball on the team he was on because of the others around him so he was a perfect fit from the get go .
  8. When a team has lost four times to the same team at the most critical point of those seasons, ‘reasons’ ring hollow at some point. It sure has for me. It hasn’t for you, apparently.
  9. Noon, as per Hammer himself on facebook today.
  10. That season Otis Anderson got over 1,000 yards and averaged 3.1 yards per carry. It was the epitome of pounding the rock. Two big plays (aside from the kick) I remember is the catch short of the sticks that they turned into a first down. I think it was Baker (might have been Meggett) but we had him short and he fought his way to a first. Also I thought Hostetler was done after Wright flattened him. QB's were made of different stuff back then. I used to watch The George Michael Sports Machine.
  11. It's Baltimore, so I must consume the soul of our opponent via their local culinary fare. Crabcakes it is. Here's a local recipe from out here in the PNW. https://www.portraitmagazine.com/newmans-at-988-dungeness-crab-cakes?fbclid=IwAR32RsODgdVRbfAYT_FvwYYlSVkQb-QgJ9Z4QYTwhxz8JNAa2KWJtU3LRE0
  12. Those involved with the entire thing with Ukraine both countries knew that there was no strength in office because the same guy allowed Iran to go sanction free & gave them access to all the money they needed to continue on their path to getting a bomb so why would this guy Bo up against Russia he's a puss !! When it comes to the economy we know there s not a lot of cash coming in from that it's not coming in from the green new deal or all of the union jobs lost by not Honoring the deal of the Keystone pipe line after how many possible Billions on setting up pipe, equipment, personal hiring, contracts, & on,Nothing like pissing off the closest neighbor to us . Besides even with all of this it took Joe 4 yrs to screw the pooch it didn't happen over night, although he tried !! So it will take some time for the actual income or deficit from these moves can be known . Housing was already up from prior actions due to covid . Oh and we can't forget the Egg thing right that dam Trump was killing chickens so we had to pay more for eggs, but that started to under Biden to but Joe brought it back once from the brink so he's up 1 . And "Made in America" which you called domestic manufacturing hasn't been what it use to be for a very long time and have been leaving for years and in part the tariff thing was put in place in some instances to put pressure on companies to build more here in the US to help bring back some of the manufacturing jobs that have been lost . But we know ORANGE MAN BAD - TARIFFS BAD !! Yes my electric like yours is up (Thank you green new deal) Higher health ins (thank you illegal immigration) my groceries are more and have been, gas is back to a fairly reasonable amount but would take more, Housing is absolutely ridiculous, but you have to sacrifice something's to in hopes of getting to a better place but the few things everyone in America wants is instant gratification, someone to blame if instant gratification isn't had,& to have it all with out any sacrifice .
  13. On the scale of foibles, a cosplayer is generally looked upon as less threatening than a Johnson grabber.
  14. I hope he is a Bill for life AND I hope his cap number gets cut in half.
  15. The narrating, the music, the editing. It’s all perfect. I learned most of my old school football knowledge from watching these.
  16. I think Milano healthy is an underrated advantage for this defense. We have been watching underwhelming backups to this point in the preseason and a lot of people have forgotten how good this defense is when he's on the field. Also, Benford is better than we imagined and Williams is an "up and comer". The defensive line has got some new juice too. People are pretty worried about the Ravens running all over us but that scenario is not likely how this is going to play out. The big men on defense are healthy. Jackson is going to have to pass to win this game while we are weak at the defensive back positions. However, if the big men can disrupt Lamar, he'll get frustrated and make mistakes. Mistakes like trying to take off with Milano in pursuit, or throwing up air-balls for our defenders to intercept. The way I see it, it's a tall tall order trying to beat the Bill's in their house on opening weekend, in prime time. The Bills have had some slow starts and I think they are well aware of that. The coach has all ready reprimanded players for coming out flat and not playing with fire in the preseason. I'm expecting the Bills to be shot out of a cannon, strait at the bewildered Ravens in this one. I'm expecting the 12th man to be a factor. I'm expecting the negative Nancy's to eat some crow and like it. My expectation is to read the headline the next day "Are the Ravens Overrated?". Time to change the narrative. Go Bills!
  17. IDC about stats. I don’t play fantasy football anymore. Dawson Knox doesn’t drop that pass Kincaid did in the KC game. I don’t want to hear how it was a bad pass. Considering the pressure, it was a beautiful throw that hit Kincaid right in the mitts. Knox has made some big time catches over his career and seems to not be bothered by the spotlight. He is also a far superior blocker and the more complete TE in the respected stages of their careers.
  18. That song is more creeper than Happy Together... so someone Should be sued.
  19. Bills could use the talent but not the drama. It must be a certified messed-up situation that Wilkins is still unsigned.
  20. you may be correct good sir. But I have to remember other teams watch video too.
  21. They're flirting?
  22. He probably tried. just like he tried to trade Elam before stashing him on IR and trading for Rasul.
