The pain from a torn ligament is initially intense and then tends to fade quickly.

He's not going to do any further damage just walking on it so a cart isn't really necessary.

Sad to see Mahomes go down. Clean tackle attempt. Moslty non-contact. Looks like more of a collateral sprain than ACL.
