Thought they were flat as a pancake until down 21-0, just didn't seem to have it together, and for a change it wasn't turnovers, just offensive ineptitude, and defensive and coaching blunders. Could be. But outside of 1st drive TDs this year, we have been prone tp being flat early in games. 2 Quote

Continuous blunders by the coaching staff really put us behind the 8 ball. Luckily they made up for it in the 2nd half. Helluva comeback. The bobbled pass? NE got to the line before he could make a decision. He stated in post game there was no replay to see and the Jumbotron showed it was close. Should he have thrown it? Yeah, but with lack of info, he didn’t. If he had thrown it, and it wasn’t overturned pitchforks would be waiting at Prior Aviation for him. Patsies were juiced for this game, as well as the fans. Many poor decisions in the first half on offense and defense. Thankfully they adjusted big time 2nd half and played a heck of a half. Remember, patsies had the bye. Great win by our team for sure! 3 1 Quote

I am not sure it was blunders so much as they were just outschemed on that side of the ball first half. Agree, should have thrown the flag. I didn't think it was clear on a first quick view but you have very little to lose. First half time outs are nice but not essential at end of half. Even if your guys upstairs are still looking and wondering just throw it. 1 4 Quote

The Patriots could win and as long as we win and they lose to the fins or jets... We win the division. Tying their record does nothing Not necessarily. If Baltimore beats them and any other team also beats them, Buffalo could end up with an overall better record. It doesn't just have to be a division loss. It wouldn't be the 1st time we've seen a team dominate for 3 qtrs of a season, only to flame out in the end. Quote

Stephon Diggs happened to do his best impression of...the Invisible Man! 3 receptions for 26 yards! AND, I can thoroughly enjoy watching the morning football talk shows tomorrow 🤩 Looked like their last gasp 4th and 5 was going to Diggs under all circumstances- and it was awesome to have it shut down not just in coverage but with Bosa owning the lanes. Oh yea if Houston starts dumping points on people I think everyone is in trouble lol. I don’t think they’d score 24 in a half against a playoff team but if they do that’s definitely trouble Quote

I don't care if he misses a throw here or there. He is unreal. I saw a video recently of his highlights from just four games in December (LA Rams, Detroit & San Fran from last year, plus Cincy this year), and it’s amazing his number of big plays in just those games alone. More highlights than most guys would have in their careers. Quote

Success Posted yesterday at 10:52 PM Posted yesterday at 10:52 PM This game gives me so much confidence for the postseason. That was a playoff atmosphere, on the road. We were down 21 and still pulled it off. No team scares me in January. Winning 3 on the road won't be easy - but this is the team to do it if it comes to that. All that said: GO DOLPHINS 1 Quote

Josh Allen: Received a significant extension with the Bills after his third season. Joe Burrow & Justin Herbert: Both were eligible for extensions after their third year and signed large deals with the Bengals and Chargers, respectively. Brock Purdy: Though a late-round pick and not subject to the same rookie wage scale rules as a first-rounder, his unique situation led to a massive extension after he became eligible. Sounds like a 2027 problem. Sign the extenion ..sure …how much counts against the cap the first couple of years ? Brock Purdy is $9m this year and $24m next for example …. Even only $30m the following … so yeah ….2029 problem with Maye Edited yesterday at 11:02 PM by Aussie Joe Quote
WideNine Posted yesterday at 10:54 PM Posted yesterday at 10:54 PM Still bothered by the screen that used Palmer as a blocker - just a poor play to call in that situation. A bit playing scared, and not using your best players. Personnel wise if he is going to run that screen you need a WR that can block like Coleman or Davis. Also with how much NE was playing man on our wide receivers and bringing the safety down to clog up the middle, I would have liked to see a few slant and out routes by our TEs to create that separation towards the boundary after our WRs clear that area. I think that was there for the taking in some of those 3rd and longer than 2 kinds of plays where their DBs were playing off a bit and could have helped to move the sticks. Brady may be overusing our screens in general with the way teams are jumping those, and he and his staff need to do more self scouting and take advantage of teams over committing to stopping our very predictable screens. Defenses always give up something when they sell out to stop something else. 2 2 Quote

The first thought on the telecast film was it was more likely not a catch just from the reach and initial point of ball contact. A fail by either the dedicated replay person or McD if he didn't take a call to throw the flag. 3 Quote
