Their "fans" are 100% expecting them to embarrass the Bills today and rub their noses in it. They are expecting for Diggs to put on a show on the field and on the sidelines. It will be a monumental letdown if they fail to beat the Bills. This is part of where the athlete and sport is vastly different than the fan and team experience. While it is hard for me to adequately state the team is not the athlete nor the athlete the team. These players compromise the team. The work they put in and attitude they have vary. NFL players largely are supreme athletes that can play drunk, high, or not with proper rest. NBA is similar. These guys are out there to do their job. Quote

But your scenario is fun. But only if Bills win the game against the Chiefs. Otherwise the story book ending is like a dark Grimm Brothers fairy tale. Yes, but either way, i think it is how it must be written. Win or lose, the opponent must be the Chiefs. Quote

For certain, the torches and pitchforks will be out if it's a loss. You're gonna get a lot of that until there's a Lombardi in the trophy case. Quote

Draconator Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago (edited) Latest weather update from Pivotal Weather. Temps at 30 degrees, Wind gusts from the Southeast at around 23 mph, so the windchill will be in the low 20s. About an inch of snow during the game. Edited 12 hours ago by Draconator 1 1 Quote

Generic_Bills_Fan Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago (edited) Spread just jumped another point in bills favor to bills -2.5 did we get good injury news or something? Not sure if just Palmer would cause that. Maybe it was the weather Edited 12 hours ago by Generic_Bills_Fan Quote
ChronicAndKnuckles Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I’m about 45 m from Foxborough. It looks like Buffalo out here. The Bills will be right in their element. Big advantage for our crap WRs 1 Quote
boyst Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I'm not super worried about Benford. The conditions and him having a foot issue make it ok to rest him. This will be a ball control game & slow game to start. Big play potentials could be back breaking but the Patriots aren't a big play team any more than other teams. I think they'll look to capitalize on a few early and Maye can definitely hit a long ball to hurt us... But I don't see that as a script. Diggs will have over 60 yards, no doubt. 1 Quote
