The Colts are circling the drain, and the Chargers have a broken QB with a decimated Oline

 

Maybe the Broncos put the nail in the Chiefs coffin, but I absolutely think the Chargers and/or the Colts both lose at least two games, so it is not over by any means...even though I do agree that their team as a whole (HC included) just aren't what they were.

Yup.  It’s like everyone woke up today obsessed to get hit by freezing cold takes. 
 

KC has issues but people apparently have a lot of faith in the Chargers to not fall apart against the most difficult schedule left in the NFL.

Even if the Chiefs miss the playoffs, I would trade their 3 Super Bowl wins over what the Bills have done in the same time.

I hoped for this last season, but you never know. But now we see it. Kelce, once an unstoppable force and a first-down machine, is now 36, a role player, and very stoppable.

Chris Jones, still makes plays, but is no longer an unblockable terror up the middle. He's good but no longer consistently great.

I'm not saying the Chiefs can't be good or make the playoffs in the next year or two. But the dynasty is over. They are no longer favorites to win it all every year. They will battle for the playoffs now. The 90s Bills are happy (that record run of four-straight SB appearances record should stay intact), the current Bills are happy, and we should be too.

you should go to their message board. It's not unusual that a fan base is bleeding after an ugly loss but the attitude is indeed dire.

Honestly, their GM may be responsible for doing the same thing that Beane did: invest in sub-par WRs, hope to elevate mostly C and some B level defensive talent, and hang on to aging players.

That was kind of my point in mentioning NE. 

 

Brady and Belichick won the SB in 2001, then missed the playoffs at 9-7 in 2002. I was relieved that it was a blip on the radar (it being their SB win) and meant they would just go away. I was incorrect in that assessment.

 

Brady tore his ACL in like 2007 or 2008, but that year doesn't count. My point is they might be down now so we should enjoy it, but I wouldn't count them totally out.

I ALMOST feel bad for Kelce…he was having a good year and they all turned on him because he couldn’t catch a ball thrown way behind him…don’t like the dude at all and never have but that feels a little unfair lol
