Just saw Josh in the locker room talking about not riding the wave and staying even/lower emotion…

I never want to hear again how the Bengals were going to boat race the Bills in the Hamlin game that was cancelled.

 

In that game they went right down field and scored a TD to go up 7-0…just like this game. The following Bills drive stalled inside the 10 yard line and the Bills got a FG…just like this game. The Bengals appeared like they were going to march down and score another TD in the Hamlin game…they actually did do that this game. 

Bills down 14-3 after a near identical

start to this game the Bills won. Don’t want to hear it again. What happens in the 1st quarter doesn’t decide the game.

Granted the finale is in Foxborough, but they have beaten even the Brady led Pats before.  That’s it.  We have to run the table and the Pats have to stumble

Folks, we are so lucky to be able to just watch this guy, let alone have him as our own. 

 

It's one thing to watch great quarterbacking.

 

It's another thing when the great quarterback plays for your favorite team.

 

It's at another level when the quarterback is your favorite player of all time.

The difference between Allen and Burrow in the area of athleticism is rather huge.

 

Is there any doubt in anyone's mind that if Allen had to tackle Benford that he would have?

 

Burrow didn't even come close to muddying his frosted tips.

The third downs were just nuts.  The Bengals made like 5 outstanding catches to continue those drives.  That was what the game demanded and they did it. tip your hat to them for making those plays.

But our defense showed that he's human.

This is why I try not to post during games anymore. 

 

Games are stressful enough, but when you watch the D get chewed up & see yet another turnover, I begin sharpening my "fire McDermott" pitchfork.

 

But I took a deep breath, waited it out, then watched them pull off a miracle. Whew!

 

I can't stress enough just how annoyed I've been seeing the INTs creep back into Allen's game recently, so to get a win AND see a clean game from Allen? Amazing!

Tbf, the Bengals then proceeded to boat race the Bills just a few weeks later & blew them out of their own building. 

 

But yes, you're correct. First quarter doesn't dictate the entire game.

The dolphins are sneakily not horrible so you never know…I don’t think they’re good but they’re well within the ‘any given Sunday’ range and McDaniel is coaching for his job 

 

Dolphins probably should’ve beat the pats last time they lost by achane having a toe out of bounds

Just re-watching it in slow-mo. You're right about Milano imo, he'd be late, but Hancock was in good position and there was also Bishop heading to the area. I'd say it would end up 8-yard gain or so.

What about the other two games we lost in that fashion? Will you listen to that? Bills won but giving up td drive after td drive to open games against one team would make you think of changing the gameplan alittle. Not sure why they waited until half, they knew what they were gonna see

Hancock was on the field on 1st/10 when they were expecting a run so much that multiple guys bit on a play fake that Burrow never even ended up executing?!

I noticed they were being a little more proactive about getting him on the field early in the game (i.e. 3rd/5s instead of 3rd/9s) but I'm really surprised he was out there on 1st down in that situation.
