MDH Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago I never want to hear again how the Bengals were going to boat race the Bills in the Hamlin game that was cancelled. In that game they went right down field and scored a TD to go up 7-0…just like this game. The following Bills drive stalled inside the 10 yard line and the Bills got a FG…just like this game. The Bengals appeared like they were going to march down and score another TD in the Hamlin game…they actually did do that this game. Bills down 14-3 after a near identical start to this game the Bills won. Don’t want to hear it again. What happens in the 1st quarter doesn’t decide the game. 6 3 5 6 Quote

Granted the finale is in Foxborough, but they have beaten even the Brady led Pats before. That’s it. We have to run the table and the Pats have to stumble Edited 16 hours ago by machine gun kelly Quote

I think I stopped going there about 6 weeks ago and my life is much better for it. I kinda understand going there to laugh at the idiocy. Other than that it's intolerable. 1 hour ago, finn said: How can he not be voted MVP after that game? What other quarterback does that? Stafford? Maye? Mahomes? Not even Lamar can carry the entire team on his back like that in such clutch fashion. Just amazing. Folks, we are so lucky to be able to just watch this guy, let alone have him as our own. It's one thing to watch great quarterbacking. It's another thing when the great quarterback plays for your favorite team. It's at another level when the quarterback is your favorite player of all time. 1 hour ago, Generic_Bills_Fan said: As great of a pure passer as he is I really think you gotta be dual threat these days. Those few plays we pressured him (lol) he looked pretty listless and they would get ravaged by a good dline. The difference between Allen and Burrow in the area of athleticism is rather huge. Is there any doubt in anyone's mind that if Allen had to tackle Benford that he would have? Burrow didn't even come close to muddying his frosted tips. 1 hour ago, MikePJ76 said: The one thing they did to me today besides the obvious that was a positive was they tackled really well and were excellent against the run. The third downs were just nuts. The Bengals made like 5 outstanding catches to continue those drives. That was what the game demanded and they did it. tip your hat to them for making those plays. Especially early on Burrow was throwing perfect passes beating excellent coverage. It was an impressive display of accuracy and ball placement. But our defense showed that he's human. 1 hour ago, EmotionallyUnstable said: I am just so amped up. What a football game that was. An amazing watch. Just the perfect mix of weather, adversity, excellence, big plays, and the BIG DUBBBBB. Go Josh. He is the Bills. Just an alien! And, there's no analyst I'd rather listen to than Greg Olsen. He's just superb AND likable. 1 hour ago, D. L. Hot-Flamethrower said: Tight ends 11 for 137, 2 TDs great job by the triumvirate. Best game ever for Dawson and thank god Dalton played through injury And Hawes was again dominating in blocking and caught the TD. 1 hour ago, Low Positive said: I'm afraid to wear my Bills hat to Trader Joes in Kenwood (Cincinnati). 1 hour ago, Scott7975 said: I never was. How did the league not step in there....isn't that what all the changes were for to make sure team didn't risk a players long term health to win a single super important game. I am really confused. He slammed his head twice on the frozen turf. I hope the guy is ok. I wouldn't be surprised if he is out a game or two. And he was holding his head while laying on the ground. It's incomprehensible that the league misses these things. 5 Quote
BigDingus Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago This is why I try not to post during games anymore. Games are stressful enough, but when you watch the D get chewed up & see yet another turnover, I begin sharpening my "fire McDermott" pitchfork. But I took a deep breath, waited it out, then watched them pull off a miracle. Whew! I can't stress enough just how annoyed I've been seeing the INTs creep back into Allen's game recently, so to get a win AND see a clean game from Allen? Amazing! 2 Quote

That's how it felt for me. Nice to be on the positive end of one of these again (Obviously, Ravens opener was like this too). I thought of the Denver game immediately after the 2nd interception. 3 Quote

Just re-watching it in slow-mo. You're right about Milano imo, he'd be late, but Hancock was in good position and there was also Bishop heading to the area. I'd say it would end up 8-yard gain or so. 1 1 Quote

Hancock was on the field on 1st/10 when they were expecting a run so much that multiple guys bit on a play fake that Burrow never even ended up executing?! I noticed they were being a little more proactive about getting him on the field early in the game (i.e. 3rd/5s instead of 3rd/9s) but I'm really surprised he was out there on 1st down in that situation. 1 Quote
