We're not going to win 3 consecutive road games to make the Super Bowl. The only way we can play a home game as a wild card is if KC is in the playoffs with us taking out higher seeds so Buffalo can host an AFCG. That would be ideal to me. I don't want a Super Bowl victory tainted by "It's only because they didn't face KC." Time to exorcise those demons by finally smacking down KC at home in the AFCG. The perfect farewell to the stadium, too. 1 Quote
wjag Posted Thursday at 03:42 PM Posted Thursday at 03:42 PM Pretty big weekend slate of good games that will absolutely have an impact on playoff seeding: Cowboys v Lions Bengals v Bills Steelers v Ravens Colts v Jaguars Bears v Packers Texans v Chiefs Eagles v Chargers 1 1 2 Quote
Gregg Posted Thursday at 03:45 PM Posted Thursday at 03:45 PM Even if the Bills win on Sunday afternoon, I still want KC to win Sunday night. We need some separation from the Texans. 1 3 Quote

This is not as far fetched as it might first appear. If Miami continues to play well they could be in the hunt going into that final game vs. NE. And regardless of what Miami does leading up to that final game, it would be ideal for the cheats to still need the game to secure the division and/or playoff positioning. Then at least they still have pressure on them to win at the very end. Quote

Not having the Chiefs in the playoffs would make it much easier for us since they are the only team that knocks us out each and every year. Screw the chiefs, Go Texans Quote
Lieutenant Aldo Raine Posted Thursday at 05:16 PM Posted Thursday at 05:16 PM I feel a second attempt against the Texans won't play out the same way. I think the Bills will learn from their mistake and will have a better mitigation plan against their DLINE. Would much rather take a second crack at the Texans than allow the Chiefs to have a second crack at us. 2 4 Quote

Agree 💯.. kill the monster first. The pressure and aura KC has over the Bills in a playoff game is insane. After they are gone the Bills vs any individual opponent can just play football. I’ll take the chance they can beat the Ravens, Texans, Jags, Colts, or even Denver in a one game playoff vs KC, Andy, Patty, and the calls they get. Nope take them out!!! The perfect farewell to the stadium, too. I’ll take 3 road games vs KC at any point. The pressure on Josh and McB is far less with the impossible 3 road game scenario. In either case it’s a long shot driven by the Bills being unprepared and lax vs two inferior opponents. For those two games and previous egregious defeats.. if not the AFC championship it’s time for a change in OP. Quote

gonzo1105 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago By the way now that I know that Indianapolis is basically mince meat and that the Texans are going to eventually catch the Colts regardless, I am back on the Houston beating KC train tonight. 2 Quote
Bill51390 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Yeah back to rooting for the Texans tonight. Just get KC out of the race. 1 Quote

sven233 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I said earlier in this thread that there was no way I could ever bring myself to root for the Chiefs. That's still the case and I want them dead and buried. That said, it's going to be a "hate watch" tonight as I can't stand either team for very different reasons. I guess the only redeeming thing about this game tonight is that no matter who wins, there will be a bright side to it in some way shape or form. But man, I wish they could both lose..... Quote

RichRiderBills Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago (edited) What's funny too is the colts collapse. I had a feeling when I saw them winning early, I was like this could be a Trent Edwards type collapse year. What was it 2007? 5-1 then choked. Sure enough it's tracking that way. RunTheBall Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Zero percent chance I root for KC. I don’t care what the implications are. Fk them and their fans. I want Ravens, KC, Cinci all out of the playoffs. 2 2 Quote
Juice_32 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Honestly, this is one of those games where I'll root for the chiefs to lose and the Texans to have injuries. I'm not a good person but I've accepted it. 2 1 Quote
