Jones seems to be regressing to the mean

I don’t know. This feels more like when Baker played hurt in Cleveland. I want to credit him for continuing to gut it out. Injury has to be impacting his play.

Colts are definitely going to slip I think...

But there are a lot of AFC losses coming up, because these teams all play each other. It's going to be a crazy and fun end to the season!

Colts and Chargers could both slip late and allow a bottom feeder like KC in

Rough weekend for the Chiefs with every WC spot now occupied by an 8-4 team, along with the Texans winning.

Right now but things are going to shift significantly in the AFC over the next bunch of weeks.

A 10-7 team will probably make it in as the 7 seed.

It probably won’t be the chiefs if they only win 10 unless that one loss is against Tennessee which seems impossible 😂all their games remaining are afc and losing to the raiders pretty much blows the tiebreaker with lac even if they beat them in the rematch

i feel like the worst thing possible for kc was Houston winning the last two but Indy knocking Jax back into the division race and I’ve got a feeling that’s gonna happen

Their GM should be fired for trading away their next 2 first rounders while Daniel Jones is their QB. Did anyone on this planet think Daniel Jones was going to sniff the SB this year? That was a one man away trade and now they are going to be in a real pinch.

Wonder if they regret going all-in with Sauce Gardner.  What horrific trade.

I don't know if there's an update but I heard that Sauce suffered a non-contact injury to his calf... that sometimes translates into achilles issues.

JAX x2, SEA, 49ers & HOU.

Goodnight.  There’s 4 losses in there

That would push one of KC or Houston in there. Maybe help with both if Pittsburgh keeps falling.

Yep. The wildcards are LAC, Buffalo and Houston.

There was always to me an element of freakishness about the Colts. Never gonna last.

The only route in for the AFC North is to win that division. No wildcard from there is making it. So if Pittsbugh crash Baltimore gets in. It makes no odds to KC and Houston.

KC has to win out. With 4 AFC losses already and a H2H loss to the only other potential wild card team who even have 3 (Buffalo) there is no route in for them at 10-7. They have to run the table and be 11-6. I don't see that.

I agree but Texans need to beat KC next week.

If they lose it will be hard for them to get ahead of 10-7 Chiefs.

I have a lot more faith in the colts and daniel jones

What has Jones ever done in this league to elicit that statement?

Do we want the Texans to beat the Chiefs? The Bills are two games up record wise on KC and three when you count the tiebreaker. The Texans are only 1 game back of the Bills, and they do have the tiebreaker. I think it's better for the Bills if KC wins vs the Texans. Of course, the Bills need to handle business and beat the Bengals which is the only thing that really counts.

They will still probably make the playoffs. Football is not linear and a very week to week league. Jags are right now the flavor of the week in the AFC South same with Houston but the moment either loses the narrative changes.

The bigger thing is the AFC South possibly pitting 3 teams in the playoffs and blocking KC/BAL from making it in. That is the wildest thing to me.

The Ravens will win the division. I know the Ravens and Steelers is one of best rivalries in the NFL and these teams tend to split the season series. But the Steelers look really bad now. My guess is the Ravens sweep them this year and win the division. The Bengals would have to run the table and get some help to win the division. It's the Ravens division to lose IMHO.

Having watched the Ravens they are no sure thing right now. Lamar is hurt, the defense is shaky, and the offense is as up & down as the Bills. I do agree I would still bet on BAL over PIT or CIN, but this is the most chaotic year in the AFC in probably two decades when DEN hosted PIT in the AFC title and PIT won.
