Not just that, a touchdown wins right? I’d never defer in OT. You can’t trust any defense to never give up a TD these days. This isn’t the college OT format, that’s completely different. I don’t really see deferring as logical. 

 

ps, I lost track of the OT rule change, but I still don’t think deferring always makes sense.
