Probably toward the bottom of the middle third. But they're also playing with backups and rookies. They're not supposed to be that good right now. 

 

Our offense, on the other hand, is almost completely healthy and has been top-3 for the past 5 years.

 

One side is playing to expectations. The other is playing far below them.

I normally don’t agree with stuff like this, but what the hell.  Why not try not of Daboll would come back during 10 day break.  Nobody can fix the WR mess, but Brady probably isn’t coming back anyhow and maybe something like this would be a spark.

It is time. Not sure Kromer or Ronald Curry will better, they may even be worse. But the trade deadline is past so our roster is basically set. McDermott isnt going anywhere and any changes to defensive coaching won’t affect how the D is designed due to that.

 

So the only real change to try is at O Coordinator. See if someone else can design an offense to improve our weaknesses. If it goes sideways and we lose a few more games, who cares. We aren’t winning a Super Bowl with this current formula anyway.

 

Lets hope a real shakeup can happen this off season.

McDermott and Beane are at fault. There have been enough fall guys already. Its them. They aren’t good enough. They will never win a championship.

I’m more into blaming Beane but I think it’s time for a new voice for the players, too.  And I agree with you that I don’t think McD is going to get it done here.

Just like Reid not good enough to have won one on Philly.

He likely would have won in Philly with Mahomes or Allen or any number of quarterbacks better than McNabb.

Why didn’t he make any adjustments? He was doing the same sidewards passes behind the line of scrimmage Why doesn’t he uses that book of plays from last year. I knew we were in trouble when I heard McDermott say earlier in the week he was gonna keep everything the same because it was a short week.

Anyone would have whooped us with that kind of pass rush and a tough secondary.   The Bills ran into a defense that is giving up 16 points a game and we put up 19.  Unfortunately,  they need 24 as that is what the defense gave away.. the offense didn't help by coughing up the ball on the Bills side multiple times.    This one is really on McDermott for not having his team prepared.  They were coming from an emotional win on Sunday....tough to show up on the road.

Or, I want him to be Tom Brady. Take what the defense gives you and don't try to be Uncle Rico on 2nd and 6. Just complete the goddamn pass and let your teammates do their job.

Allen insists on making the game all about himself when he doesn't need to. He's one of the most gifted players to ever play the game, and he's absolutely going to the HoF, but if he doesn't win a ring, it will be his own fault. It's a team game, not a reality show where Josh Allen shows how much better he is than everyone else.

Davis Mills understood that assignment and his team won.

To be fair, those sideways passes were about the only things working today.  In fact, we needed to do more of them. As soon as we tried to stretch the field in any way, Josh got pummeled.

Your projections notwithstanding Davis Mills gets to play against our defense. His assignment is basically writing his name. Allen's out here doing quantum chromodynamics w our offense vs their defense
