Both scenarios have upside, but I want the Chiefs out of the picture if possible. The Colts will also be a challenge as I would expect JT to have a big day against the Bills minor league run defense. With that said I will take a game between Allen vs Jones 24-7-365. Quote

Didn’t they win a boatload of one score games last year? Like our turnover stats from a year ago, things tend to come back to the norm given time. Quote
Nihilarian Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Two things are happening with the Chiefs right now. One is that Patrick Mahomes looks like an above-average QB and not the magic man we are used to watching. Second, it looks like the refs are no longer bending over backwards to favor them. I'll be happy to see them miss the playoffs, and hopefully, Andy Reid will then contemplate retirement. At this point, I can only hope that the Patriots, Colts, and Broncos falter somewhat so Buffalo gets home-field. What's odd is that this year, I don't see an absolute monster heavyweight in the NFC. Stating that the AFC team should win the Super Bowl. 1 Quote

I can't get enough of Kelce celebrating every 3 yard reception like it's a SB winning touchdown with time expiring. if it was even remotely possible within the physical laws of the universe for me to cheer harder against a team I would 1 Quote

He's forcing may more plays this year since Kelce is limited by age and they can't run the ball. I think the Bills and Chiefs are at a similar place- they need to cut ties with some old players, and reload the roster for the next 4-5 year window. KC was an anamolly last year winning really close games consistently- it looks like Denver caught whatever that is.... just sucks we couldn't eek out one rings in our 3-4 year window... ahh, such is the life of a Bills fan... H2o Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I hope that the Colts beat them in regulation, the refs find a way to cheat them out of it, the Chiefs turn the ball over in OT, and then the Colts immediately score again just to make them feel a kick in the n*ts a 2nd time. 1 1 Quote
TheFunPolice Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) It sounds crazy maybe but if we win the Super Bowl this year it wouldn't quite be the same if slaying the dragon isn't part of the run. Don't get me wrong: I'll be good either way! I mean, AFC Title Game... Last ever game at Highmark... Bills/Chiefs. Snowflakes in the air. For the AFC Title. For History. Forever. ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?! I mean, Bills/Jags? Come on... Edited 6 hours ago by TheFunPolice 1 Quote

That's crazy to think that way Give me the easiest run to the Super bowl and the worst NFC team available Edited 6 hours ago by Buffalo716 4 Quote

dpberr Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago The Chiefs look tired and uninterested. That team has played a lot of games over eight long seasons. They have played 20+ more games than most of their opponents when you factor in the playoffs. The hunger isn't there. Quote

The big difference is they are losing 1 score games when they were winning them improbably some weeks like that blocked FG against Denver last year. Quote
Generic_Bills_Fan Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) As much as I hate to say it I don’t think the chiefs will lose a divisional matchup in the playoffs since it’s the third time they’ll be seeing that team, same goes for the jags with it being the second time. I don’t think NE is beating them either and Baltimore pretty much never beats them. if the colts beat them decisively I’ll feel better about it but if not it’s really kinda up to the bills to keep them out of the superbowl again. The chiefs would most likely get stomped in the Super Bowl if they made it though 1 hour ago, Royale with Cheese said: It's pretty crazy that they are 4th in scoring and 9th in scoring defense. Yea they’re towards the top in all those advanced team ratings metrics but just can’t finish close games against good teams this year Edited 5 hours ago by Generic_Bills_Fan Quote

Come on... idk the bills and chiefs are both going through very similar parity pains…bills just would’ve handled it better if kc misses the playoffs and the bills win the Super Bowl also I sincerely doubt the chiefs will miss the playoffs by more than a game and that would be kinda poetic justice with them saying ‘the regular season doesn’t matter’ after we beat them 😂. Honestly I think that’s even better than beating them in the playoffs lol Edited 5 hours ago by Generic_Bills_Fan Quote

With our injuries, and s*xual kink for getting injured, the #1 seed would be more important than anything else to me 2. Even if Chiefs win, I cant see them winning enough games further to get into playoffs... and if they did, cant say they scare me this year, especially at home 3. Chiefs win - Hurts Indy - Helps Us - and meaningless win for KC hurts their draft stock 4. I'm not going to let a win vs TB Bucs where we had no defense, fool me into buying in full heartedly into believing this team is a contender 5. Coleman addition by subtraction effect, could be vastly over estimated and temporary... while I do think removing him has a positive effect, its hard to count on Shavers being the real deal, TY Johnson looking that explosive, and my God we are in trouble if our running game looks like that again *woof* Its a weird Buffalo team this year, but also a weird NFL. I dont know whats real, and Im not sure if the players know. Can they stay focused? Will they buy back into McD and staff? If/when we suffer another loss, will morale come flying of the hinges again? I'm not a doomer, if anything Ive drank way more KoolAid than DoomAid... I hope we work through this, but cautiously optimistic is about best I have to give. It's like the drunk dad that never shows up, all the sudden cleans up for a month and is fun to be around, going to AA meetings... I'm excited about the month, but in the back of my head a relapse can be around any corner, and I been hurt too many times fully buying in 1 Quote
