I didn't think much of it, until I looked closer.  Yes, they're chasing us for Wild Card, but then I looked at other Wild Card teams in the standings.

We have a two-game lead on them, Chiefs and Ravens.  We already own tie-breakers with the Chiefs and Ravens.  With those tie-breakers, a win this Thurs. effectively gives us a three-game cushion.  More so, should we end up with a three or four way tie, we'd still own the tie-breaker, as we would have beaten all of them head-to-head.

Now, don't get me wrong, I still want the division, and haven't given up on that, but a win Thurs. would give us a lot of security for at least making the playoffs.

Less concerned about the WC, that is all but a lock. I am still holding out hope for the division and the 1 seed. If NE can just drop a game or two. It is crazy how easy their schedule is this year.

NE catches another break because Chase can't swallow his spit.

Win on Thursday and the playoffs are all but certain I think.

I'm on holiday in Mexico too so I don't need to be up in the middle of the night to watch.

Be really careful in Mexico. It’s not the UK.

I'd love to see another wide open performance by Allen.  Let's not give the Texans a chance to get into any kind of rhythm, make them play from behind immediately

Their pass D worries me some.   They did give Allen his worst QB performance of his career last season.   Hopefully Brady keeps the creativity flowing again this week because I doubt receivers are gonna be as open as they were last week.

According to NYT playoff machine, Bills currently have a 92% chance to make the playoffs.  It is +/- 6 % depending on a win or loss.  Not exactly a must win, but probably is to keep longshot chances alive for division.  Wins against Texans and Pats raises chances from 14% to 40%.

Big fan of cartels?

Joking aside, why do people vacation in Mexico of all places!?

The way I see it, EVERY remaining game on the schedule is huge.

To win the division we need to win out, plain and simple. The only games New England has a realistic chance of losing are us and the ravens. If we we win out, and Pats drop to Ravens,we will win the division. Tiebreaker is very likely out for us given our division loss to Miami so we have to win out and NE has to lose 1 more (in addition to our game).

I am all about odds and percentages even though i suck at maths. If the Bills handle business this Thursday, I think it’s all but a guarantee that they make it in. I wonder what the % of 7-3 edit: 8-3 teams end up missing the postseason? It’s gotta be insanely low.

Teams that start 8-3 in the NFL make it to the playoffs over 90% of the time.

Of course the Jags were 8-3 in 2023 and missed them. I don’t think the Bills are the Jags of 2023 though.

Hate: Thursday games

I’m from upstate New York taught school here. I’m sick of  going to the games and seeing  Buffalo lose in the last Five minutes here in Houston
We need to stop playing prevent defense and take control of the game Thursday night.

That's not necessarily a great thing. Mills has been pretty good in the last 2 games. I almost wouldn't mind a Stroud coming back after a few games off from a brain injury.

Didn’t realize it until you said it, but Mills has 566 yards and 3 TDs in his last two starts. Vs only one INT. He seems to be getting into a rhythm.

The Texans stadium has been a house of horrors, though. With the exception of the Peerless Price game. Every game there has been a nightmare

Time to end that
