Idk how people weren’t picking up on that all last year with Brady. By far the most important players in his offense are the RBs. When we are clicking, the RBs are making plays in the passing game. Having as many playmakers active at RB is our way to explosive plays. A WR trade never made sense because WRs are the 3rd most important thing in our passing game. 1-RBs 2- TE 3- WRs thsts why we don’t have a big name. That’s why we didn’t trade for one. There’s no point. They won’t be used You are never going to see Gore up unless there is an injured back that can’t play. 1 Quote
Success Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago This team is so hard to figure out. But I do think at their best, they are as good as anyone, and better than just about everyone. So much for them is centered around both health, and motivation. They're getting healthier, and there should be NO issue w/ motivation as we get into the homestretch and still have a good chance for the division title. Quote
MikePJ76 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Has anyone brought up how demeco ryans doesn’t like Josh Allen? Remember last year he made a point to state that Jordan love would be the best qb they have played this year the week after playing Buffalo. then later in the year he made a comment about Lamar being the real mvp or something to that effect. Knowing how Josh Allen remembers all this stuff I hope it’s something that motivates him even more. and yes spare me the he is an nfl player blah blah he doesn’t need motivation. I know I get that and agree but Allen always remembers petty things like this. No way he didn’t hear that and get the message Ryans was sending. Hopefully with the need to win, the poor day there last year and the comments we get an extra focused Josh Allen Thursday. 1 Quote

With Ed Oliver and Michael Hoecht, I honestly think we’re the best team in the NFL, provided we take the restrictions off Allen when it matters. Stabilizes our run defense and our pass rush would be filthy. Hopefully Ed can pull a Burrow and suprise us by getting back early on the field Week 17 or 18 to get ready for the Playoffs but I doubt it. Feels like a Micah Hyde situation in which we hopefully actually make it to the point where he can return. 1 1 Quote

Well, Josh did play quite poorly vs Houston last year … no INTs but as I recall two potential INTs were dropped. A bad game. Quote

Not rooted in facts Jordan love is a good quarterback... You have to have a lot of bias to think he's better than Josh allen Quote

So my question for someone who has done some research is how is their edge against the rush? Sometimes, to be a good pass rushers you have to be long and lean, but that body type isn't necessarily good against a large drive blocking offensive tackle on running plays. I keep thinking of the Bills prime time game a couple of years ago when they faced the great Cowboy defense and Parsons and just ran all over them for the same reason...Allen hardly threw at all. If that were the case, the real key is to play from the lead and not to have to play catch up. I am not nearly as sold on the pass rush as many. The numbers are hard to deny at end. However, the edge guys I think they are very good, but not great. We have great tackles. I think they’ll be fine in pass pro. They also don’t really blitz or get too exotic with stunts. They use some (from the little I’ve seen this year) interesting alignments in passing downs, such as Anderson/Hunter on the same side. Otherwise it’ll look a lot like the Bills alignments presnap, the occasional double A presnap sugar from the backers, the overload to one side, etc. Despite being the smaller player, I believe Anderson is more stout against the run. Their interior guys are playing well. Rankins is great and Settle and Tommy Togiai (72) are good players. Again, this is strength on strength. It will be a fun watch. 1 Quote

I do think josh deserved the mvp he got, but it really was 50-50 between him and Lamar, who had a sensational season too. Quote

Regardless if Josh won the MVP last year or not He could probably already have multiple MVPs for what he's done with the bills .. his statistics are on a different level If you're not putting him in your top five you have a lot of serious hate which is rooted in something other than football I know you were just putting it into context I'm just saying those texans guys have been sniffing too many markers Edited 1 hour ago by Buffalo716 1 Quote

You will never hear anybody from the Chiefs organization or the Ravens organization downplay Josh Allen and how great he is Because you're just going to turn the switch on You will never hear Sean McDermott talk down a quarterback who he's about to play... Because they're all professionals and can play a good game.. last thing you want is to give any fuel Edited 1 hour ago by Buffalo716 1 Quote

sven233 Posted 35 minutes ago Posted 35 minutes ago I made a full post about it in the Coleman thread, but thought it was worth mentioning here as well. There is a lot of talk on X that Coleman is down again tomorrow. Not sure if it is fully out there corroborated with multiple sources, but there is talk, which I fully believe to be true, that he indeed will be scratched again tomorrow. If this is indeed true, it's not a great look for him with both Hardman and Samuel out as well with injuries. Looks like Moore might be the guy that goes in for Samuel and we'll have to wait and see what they choose to do with the return game. Quote

I know he wasn’t “technically” a first-rounder; but he’s trending towards being tied with Kaiir Elam as the biggest bust of Beane’s career. Quote

The second elevation could be for Codrington, or possible another Latu call up with Kincaid down. Quote

Personally, I would rather it be Fox if he's ready because we need to help get Bosa's snap count under control, but they love having 3 TEs active so I guess we'll see. Quote
