We have an ace up our sleeve. Say it with me. Keon Coleman:Slot Machine. I really hope Coleman is inactive (not sure who would replace him with the injuries we have)...I think him not being out there was truly addition by subtraction. If he is again playing the most WR snaps like he had been all season, that is a bad move. If he is active, but has a reduced roll, that could work. I just don't want to see him leading the WR snap count. Just now, Nineforty said: Just heard a crazy stat. Bills are 2-1 when giving up 200 rushing yards or more this year. The rest of the league is 1-16 when they do that. Our secret plan! 1 2 Quote

And if he does end up with less snaps due to Coleman being back, that would directly go against everything McD preaches about earning your spot, working hard and being rewarded, etc. Shavers has put in the work, finally made the team in training camp, and had a career game. I hope he and Allen continue to build a rapport. 1 3 1 Quote

I just don't want to see him leading the WR snap count. Our secret plan! I don't care how many snaps he sees. Snaps on the outside for him are basically wasted reps at this point. Now if Shakir has a setback and can't go, I would be interested to see what a WR group of Palmer/Davis outside and Coleman in the slot may look like. But doubt Brady will think of that 1 Quote

The bills are a straight up statistical enigma haha you’d think they were bottom of the league in everything watching them but we’re like 12th in yards allowed per game and 14th in points allowed per game 😂 I think the run heavy opponent approach has kinda been a double edged sword…there’s been some comically easy drives but also quite a few three and outs where we stuffed a couple runs in the series. The running game against us has been either home runs or minimal gains it feels like but to truly pound the run most plays I think you’d prefer a 5 or 6 yard gain every play Edited 55 minutes ago by Generic_Bills_Fan 4 Quote

Like, the long TD runs we've given up this year are bad, there's no debating that. But as failures go, giving up a long TD run isn't as damaging as giving up a series of 5-15 yard runs that ends in a TD. The long run can be demoralizing, but getting wrecked over and over on a long TD drive is also demoralizing. I'm not *happy* about where the run D is this year by any stretch. But I'm *less worried* than most. Quote

Oh yea it’s a real problem still but efficiency wise I think teams are passing so little that rushing for 200 on us doesn’t really mean as much as it does against other teams . Usually when a team rushes for 200 they’ve got statlines like Atlanta did against us where it’s like 450-460 total yards a bunch of possession time but some of these teams running on us are topping out in the low to mid 300s really odd season so far. 2/3rds of our losses we outgained our opponents and really didn’t give up a crazy yardage total. And the 1 loss where we gave up a sh*tload of yards we were actually in the game late somehow and didn’t give up a ton of points haha Edited 35 minutes ago by Generic_Bills_Fan 1 Quote
