Depends on what Bills team shows up each week.

At this point in the season there should not be any questions about this.

Same goes for them. Look, Josh just showed he can improvise and find guys, which totally demoralizes a D. I have a feeling they will be ready to beat Houston. And they have a couple games worth of tape now on the Houston QB from this year. At some point he has a bad game, it’s why he is a backup. This is the best that can happen for the Bills IF they are a serious SB team. They need to show they can have the pass or run ready depending on what the D tries to take away.

I mean your argument is what I’ve been pretty much saying for years. The Bills need to both be able to run the ball and pass the ball. They need explosive plays and they need time killing drive plays. That’s the make of a good offense.

what they also need is an OC that knows when to call what and is quick to adjust. They also need players that step up and make the play when the gotta have it time comes.

they can’t play small ball when they are down two scores and wait till the 4th quarter to try and open it up. By then a team has already adjusted because they know the other team is in desperation mode.

they need to mix it up. Keep the defense on its toes. Not run all day and throw two yard passes when they know you are going to run and throw two yard passes until the last minute.

Hope Brady & JA17 remember last year @ Houston . I think we completed 9 passes. Many variables led to that ugly offensive performance. Pretty sure Shakir was out in that one. Hopefully we can have a solid offensive plan this time around

Diggs will not be there this time.

Yeah and? The goal of a crap team is to keep a game close and hope their defense makes enough stops so that their low scoring offense can pull one out.

well maybe they should score more points. I don’t care about games from different seasons. This is a new year. They scored 44 points last week.

The Bills were also robbed and I mean robbed by the officials in the playoff game. I am still pissed about the second half kickoff td for the Bills being overturned by some random guys.

In 2023, he may not have been wrong. He was ROTY and Josh was throwing picks all over the place. He, quite obviously, jumped the gun.

Well only a day or two later Stroud changed his list after the uproar reaction.

I think he added Josh at #4 and removed Dak Prescott.

Agreed.

Should it have been close enough to matter? No. Did the Bills shoot themselves in the foot? Yes. Were they going to win it all that year? No.

But I'm still salty about it.

Yup. I’ve never seen anything like that before or since.

Houston KR f$$cked up because he didn’t know the rules, and nfl bailed him out.

Id seen that exact play previously - a KR didn’t down the ball in the end zone — but instead let the ball loose in end zone while kicking team recovered. every time it was called a TD.

So WR carousel will continue on Thursday will Samuel hurt again and Mecole injured as well.  I guess Moore returns as does Coleman.

that wasn’t even the worst call. Remember that so-called “blind side block” at the end of the game? It knocked us out of FG position. We were about to kick to win that game!!

yeah, people in the media still make fun of Josh for that lateral in the game but in OT he made two amazing clutch throws to get them into FG range but because of that BS penalty no one remembers them

Are the Texans better with or without CJ Stroud?

Not sure this answers your question but I'm worried about our defense regardless, and then I'm also worried about their defense.

In a way I’m glad that happened. They would have lost to the Chiefs the next week and the “can’t beat the chiefs in the playoffs” narrative would be even worse now.
