It's almost unwatchable.  I can't remember watching a run D this bad.

What a wild game for Allen - especially considering his second throw was a chest pass to the other team almost gifting them 7. No doubt he’s gotten better and better as the game has gone on and so has Brady. About time we’ve had wide open completions to guys

 

Defense got worse and worse, but they did step up at moments and got dealt a rough hand (turnovers, field position, injuries obv) 

 

Somehoe we scored 44 points. Special teams couldn’t decide if they wanted to gift 6 or take a house call.

 

I can’t wait to rewatch this. I think the Lbs and interior guys will not look good on tape.

 

Secondary was good today. Never heard Max’s name once. 
 

Bishop continues to make plays. 
 

Dion had a rough day (two weeks including last game).

 

I know I’m spewing random thoughts but that how this game felt. Just completely fire from the hip.

Baker had been injured over the past few weeks and had not been running AT ALL... He was still on the injured list and I think the Bills took for granted that he was still going to be bothered by the injuries... Clearly he was not. I think they went into this game thinking they could get away with a different kind of rush then they would if they could do it all over again. I think if they cage rushed him and played it a lot more like they did with Mahomes they may have been able to cut down on some of those scrambles that killed us today...

That being said it's not like they adjusted well to it...

That’s my issue with McD’s defense. It’s like if there is intel that a QB that scrambles is hurt and didn’t run the week before, our defense comes completely unprepared that he could possibly run! Just like those times we faced backup QBs and struggled. It’s like he comes with one gameplan only and will not deviate from it whatsoever!

Today was a flashback to who Allen is. He's a wild child. He's going to make a bunch of boneheaded plays...but he's also going to make amazing plays. Mr. Hyde cannot exist without Dr. Jeckel. 

 

It's time the teams stops trying to mitigate his bad plays because being safe robs them of the good ones. 

 

I will take 2INTs and a few missed passes for a 6 TD game anyday.

Mayfield hasn't run for a single score this year and has not carried the ball once in over a month.

Allen is refreshing to owning up to mistakes on his part.  He is a good leader.

A few thoughts:

 

- If we continue to play with a more open offensive game plan like this, we'll get better at executing it
- Keon Coleman can stay on the bench. Any chance Allen throws that tight window 4th down pass to Coleman? No way, and even if he did no way he holds on like Gabe did.
- Wow, our run defense is bad.

But you still have to be able to adjust if he does it to you 2-3 times easily.

Another bonus - did we get out of the game clean on injuries aside from Mecant Hardman? Good news for a quick turnaround on Thursday.

We got a little lucky today imo but it was nice to see us complete some stuff beyond 5 yards from LOS. Gabe and Josh really do have nice chemistry on those scramble plays. Also great to finally get RBs involved in passing game.

Agreed.  I really hope we can get Shaq back and he stay healthy  through the post season.  I appreciate Matt and all he has done and tried to do, but he is done at this point and needs to be gone in the offseason.
