This *could* be true. But no one else is corrobarating the story and this is a nothing fan account. It's more likely someone threw a dart at the wall that could easily be true - hoping that they're the first to it so they can point to it to say they're "legit". It's also the kind of thing that would give them a lot of views, likes, and replies because Keon is a hot talking point right now.

 

Until someone else says it, i'm not giving this any credence. As of now, his sitting this week looks to be just a matter of guys stepping up while he was out of the lineup and him losing his jersey bc of that.

All it takes is one injury to Palmer, Davis, or Shavers and he's back in the lineup.

 

But if the plan is to not play him as long as all 3 are healthy (and I imagine that is the plan), all stay healthy, and that's it from him - you trade him. You don't sit a guy for half of the season (plus the Playoffs) voluntarily and expect to make things work next year.

 

Even if that were a thing you'd do, Palmer and Shavers are under contract next season. Likely Gabe will be brought back so long as he stays healthy. And we'll almost assuredly look to add a potential WR1 in the off-season. There's really no place for him at that point.

Nope. Coleman’s spot on the roster needs to be addressed this coming off season. They can’t afford to have it be an issue once again two off-seasons from now.

It's not the (now proven) report that he would be inactive again tonight that I question.  I agree, there are a lot of people who might have that info and share it.

First of all  WTF is an "NFL Credentialed Source"?  A team credentialed member of the press?  It doesn't say a Bills coach or staff member or player.  So how do they know what the Bills think?

 

Dion and McDermott have gone on record saying that he got the message and understood it couldn't happen going forward.  Coleman has said he understands it can't keep happening.  

 

Now it's possible that's all Smoke and Mirrors.  Or it's possible that this @Billsreport account is taking what's factual (Coleman benched again) and fluffing it up.

 

Me, I think it was an abnormal week with walkthroughs and light (if any) practices, and part of what the Bills likely want to see is what kind of effort Coleman puts out during a normal week of practice.  They want to see him walk the walk, not just talk the talk.
