notpolian Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Makes sense. Houston will go heavy man coverage. Coleman doesn't excel against that. Offense looked alive last week. 1 1 Quote
babulator Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Salvaging his trade value for next year. The alternative is to keep showing everyone how bad he is and how little he has progressed. 1 1 2 Quote

notpolian Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago One aspect of Coleman's game is the notion of contested catch ability. Yes, he's a tall receiver. He can jump. That doesn't mean he's good at contested catches. He has the potential to be. I think you've also gotta have the timing, hands, strength, and maybe most of all attitude to get it done. Has Coleman ever had contested catch results in college or pros? 1 minute ago, EmotionallyUnstable said: Texans play significantly more zone than man. https://www.sharpfootballanalysis.com/stats-nfl/nfl-coverage-schemes/amp/ Yes but last year I think they shut us down with a lot of man. I heard on a podcast earlier that our offensive success rate was lower in the Houston game than basically any of our last 40+ games. They may play a lot of zone today but if it worked last year I wouldn't doubt they'll try man again this year. Quote
Steptide Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago kinda surprising honestly with Samuel and hardman being out. You'd think they'd at least have him active if nothing else but 🤷 Quote

They were like, “we are better off with Moore and Coddrington dressed.” Keon currently sits behind: Shavers, Palmer, Shakir, Moore, Davis, Samuel, Hardman and Coddrington” for a jersey. 1 1 1 Quote

McDermott is done with him. I think Allen might be too. They all see the film and the effort. Josh is an off script mastermind and Keon doesn’t help that at all. 6 Quote
Billzgobowlin Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago No issue with this as long as they are trying to get the win. Maybe they found major lapses in his game such as blocking Quote
Negan Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago He's not playable. He's slow, poor effort, low intellect. Not a good combination. Awful pick by Beane. I could draft better than Beane, not saying much. 1 2 Quote
GoBills! Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Coleman would work better as a hybrid TE / slot guy. He’s big and can hold off a rusher for 2 seconds on an option play or quick play down the middle in traffic. The problem I see is he isn’t anything on the outside and Josh hold longer hoping he can put the ball somewhere to make a play. Seems Josh is very frustrated with him and not confident he is going to make a play in the ball. That tells you everything, Josh says Shavers stay and Gabe stays then you would have to believe that’s what they will do. Quote

CirclnWagons Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Guys make bone headed decisions all the time, but if the talent is there, it’s often quickly forgotten. In keons case, the talent isn’t there and he doesn’t even make up for it with effort. That’s a lose lose when there’s someone right behind you with similar talents but 10xs your effort. Hope the puffy jacket jokes hit the same in the XFL 1 Quote

Allen extends plays extremely well but you've got to have receivers that know how and where to get open and try hard to do it. I've seen Coleman catch late passes but not nearly enough. Diggs is/was great at the late pass obviously. 1 Quote
davefan66 Posted 57 minutes ago Posted 57 minutes ago Moore will play in place of Samuel. Codrington in place of Hardman - paired with Davis. Coleman benched again is addition by subtraction. Better with him on the bench. 2 Quote
