This just makes me think that had we had the Miami game last week instead of looking good beating KC, we would have been more aggressive at the deadline.

 

Which is sad. Even in the KC game it was obvious we needed a receiver.

Our quarterback is regressing. That is on OC Brady and QB Coach Ron Curry. I don’t see Hardman making a difference in this scheme. They have some version of him now. Sunday showed our run can be shutdown. Worse,  our OC gets lost in the fog of war; ignores play makers, forgets the run completely and continually takes James Cook off the field. I think the kid has ADD. So much for complementary football. Get Brady some Ritalin or get him some psychiatric help. Is Hardman a licensed head doctor?

I doubt there are any free agents available at this point who combine both size and speed.  The small speedy guys who are with the Bills now haven't moved the needle all that much.   I suppose it doesn't hurt to try another one.

I can get being upset that we couldn't get anything done with the Trade Deadline. And I can definitely understand being upset with what he's done overall to get Josh help.

 

But the Deadline has passed. What's done is done. All we can do is bring in who's out there. And Hardman is about the best we can do. Again, it's something like this or doing nothing at all. I can't understand being annoyed by trying whatever we can at this point.

 

 

I'd like Beane to be consistent.  If he thought the WR room was good enough, like he said it was, then act like it.  

 

He jumps down people's throats for questioning the room, yet here he is signing re-treads that no other team wants.

Moore ran a 4.35 not that long ago and is younger than Hardman.

My hope is that Hardman actually has been used as a deep threat before. Moore and Samuel, even though they have speed is not something either is strong at. Being a legit deep threat takes more than just a fast 40 time. It's the Willie Gault rule. You can have all the speed in the world but if you can't track that deep pass it's no good.

Drives me crazy.  If reports are true, he was willing to give up a first, although not this year, still a first, for Waddle.

 

Meanwhile, in the offseason, DK Metcalf goes for a 2nd.  Think about that..he'd rather do a panic buy in a seller's market than take care of it before the season and would rather jump down people's throats who question the talent level of the WR room.

 

Overall, I've been a fan of Beane, but lately, some of his moves or lacks of moves, really have me starting to question the management of this roster.

I would start the ball boy over Coleman at this point. Bench him to send a message to the team about attitude--and because he's a bust. 

 

Be nice to do the same with Beane.

Beane tried to pry away both Wilson and Waddle. The Jets would not part ways and the Fins wanted a 2026 1st we wanted to give a 2027 first. As for Dabs, hell no he has lost his mind. Yelling at medical staff for not examining a player fast enough and 3 really awful seasons tells me all I need to know.
