Not denying that Shavers and Gabe are better the Coleman but Brady took an entirely different approach to the offense today. Hope he keeps it up.

Maybe he started reading this board, which has been one step ahead of him this whole season.

I mentioned this as well.  and it was an important 3rd down.   not to mention we couldnt even run to that side all day.

pretty sure this was the 3rd down one where bucs got called for facemask against shakir.

It was.

True story... I had a dream last night that the Bills hired a brilliant passing game coordinator to help Brady out in 2026 and the Bills started setting scoring records.

I so badly want this dream to come true.

It’s both but man to have a guy like Johnson . He gets it

I was wearing out friends and family with my desire to replace McDermott with Johnson for the last two offseasons, to be honest. Crushes me that we haven't paired a HOF QB unicorn with a young, aggressive, PROgressive offensive mind like Ben Johnson. Someone from the McVay/Shanahan/Kubiak trees and/or college ranks, which is Johnson's exact pedigree. Someone to redirect organization focus onto forward thinking approaches to everything, with a specific emphasis on QB success.

**Especially love Johnson's response here when thinking of Allen's particular passing skillset: he is not a guy who naturally excels at the jump ball or back shoulder throws. He's a guy who really likes to see the separation. (I'm sure he and Diggs had a bunch of pitches and catches that disprove all this, but then again, that would also speak to most fans' frustrations over not stacking the WR room with dynamic playmakers who could be scary working with Allen.) So many midround WRs in the last few years (Franklin, Horton, Tez Johnson, Metcalf LOL etc...man that Justin Shorter pick wtf) who seemed like no brainers could have helped, but of course replacing Coleman with almost any other pick (Worthy, Pearsall, McConkey or a diff position all together) would also be impactful. Shakir was a solid pick. Anywho...

Beane has always been a big WR guy by nature. Allen's first WR room was bonkers, in retrospect.

I think that this Bucs game just proved that the offense doesn't need that expensive #1 WR that so many have been complaining about!

Suddenly most Buffalo receivers were getting open and the OC finally started utilizing the RBs in the passing game. Allen 317 yards Passing, 3 TDs and 11 bills players targeted in the Buffalo pass game and 10 caught passes. Shavers led the receivers with 4 catches for 90 yards, 1 TD.

It was also one of the rare games where all of our WR's were healthy.

No they weren't. Josh's favorite target TE Dalton Kincaid was out (hamstring) and Shakir was injured so they used him as a decoy.

I said WRs and Shakir still made a catch, albeit for negative yards, my main point it's one of the rare times all have been on the field at the same time this season, specifically Palmer and Samuel.

Both Palmer and Samuel were playing in other games. In specific the NE game in which Kincaid was the leading receiver while Shakir had 9 targets, Coleman had 7 targets. My point is that i feel that the OC has been the problem this season in not game planning for the receivers enough. That clearly showed in the Atlanta and Miami games.

I think it proved that Keon was holding the offense back.

wrs are weak. turn josh loose...the winter soldier...Brady let Josh be josh

And hope the defense doesn't break when Josh starts being reckless and makes turnovers.

This narrative is 🤢

I want josh to be josh, quit trying to make him something other than he is which is an all time great. Unleash the beast!

Lmao or Tampa it could be Tampa is ranked 24th in pass yards allowed per game (233.2), 20th in opponent completion percentage (66.47%).

We’ll see how repeatable this performance turns out to be.

Josh throwing for 300+ yards against a bad, injury-ridden secondary doesn't prove anything.

50/50 balls can be key on a number of 3rd and long type situations.  I honestly thought that was why we added Keon was to counter the man coverage you see in the playoffs when they don't call holding.
