Regular season yes. What even makes it worse is the Pats winning. All we'll hear is how we're cooked and Maye is better than Josh and on and on.

things a loss to a team that fired their GM and traded away pieces because they know they need to start over. THATS who we lost too.

I hate to sound cavalier - but how hard it is to get your team "up" for a game like this?

They just had what could have been a season-turning win.  It's a division rival.  You KNOW there might be some letdown.

This game was flat, flat, flat from the very first play.  He is not able to motivate this team on a week-to-week basis.

Neither of those were as bad.

The Vikings was a hard fought game and we were in it the whole time. The Jets was a bummer, but we bounced back from that season opener as there was still time.

Today was rock bottom of a downward spiraling trend.

Years of poverty conditioned so many people to be happy with a modicum of success. A Chiefs win last week is enough to quench their thirst. A playoffs appearance means success. Any part of those as a factor (player, coach, FO) is by association a quality component.

I think McDermott’s message is falling on deaf ears with the newer players, thats why we are always bringing back early process players back in the mix.

That’s on our overrated players , not the coach. These aren’t 12 year olds. They shouldn't need extra motivating when they have a chance to crush a division rival and set themselves up to defend their title.

It was Josh Allens worse loss

Close for sure. This was an embarrassing game.  It was gift wrapped for us time and time again but like an impetulent child we didn’t take the gift

Jags loss to Urban Myer was bad. But is this the worst overall team loss under McD?

Honestly no. This sucks but no.

That’s a really interesting take. For real.

I think a lot the older players have tuned him out too, unfortunately. The whole thing has gotten stale.

still thought the Cinci home playoff loss after the Hamlin incident was the worst overall besides 13 seconds.

But Cincy was a good team. Many of McD's stinkers have been against crap like the Dolphins today.

You would rather lose the way we lost today instead of the 13 seconds plays?  We fought hard that game but had bad coaching at the end.  This was a debacle from the first offensive drive…

The question was is this McD's worst loss as a Bills coach?  There's plenty of regular season games over the years that come to mind (@Jax, Ind, @Jax (England), @Jets twice, @Atl) that were just as bad.  Thirteen seconds was absolute coaching malpractice that I believe cost us a Super Bowl.

The team has always been pretty inconsistent in the McD era, especially at home. Good quarter, bad quarter, etc.

But half of those games the overall game plan has been really bad for no apparent reason, so when they miss, they really freakin miss.

Yes.  Team came out flat and unfocused, and that never changed.  This is the second such loss this year (ATL the other).  McD and Bean need to go, things need to be shaken up.

You can only clap your hands after s--- hits the fan so many times before your team is going to wonder if you have any actually constructive solutions 🤓

I don’t know…this was a division loss against a team that’s officially given up, who we’ve absolutely owned, on essentially a neutral field, in a game we really needed to win.  I cannot think of a worse overall performance.

While I wouldn't call it the worst overall, I'd consider it one of the worst on both sides of the ball especially given who the competition was.

Miami is not a good team. They allow the worst passer rating in the league at 114 and were playing without their best CB and one of their best pass rushers.
