That was peak Sugar high Josh. I had hopes for a win that game. I now go into the playoffs with an expectation for a win.

I would take that entire roster with 2025 JA any day over this one.

Better WRs

Better Defense

Serviceable RB

Agreed. Every snap he doesn't play increases the chances he'll be ready for PO.

I hate to say it but our SB hopes depend on him to be healthy. With Hoecht and Oliver down already he is our last DL hope to make difference in PO.

We really need him to stay healthy.

In that case, keep him out of practice, too. We must lead the league in practice injuries.

It’s a 1:00 game. Thankfully, it’s November so no heat fatalities are expected despite the Bills not being allowed the same level of shade their opponents have.

Bitter? Who, me? Crap like that is easy to make fair, but they don’t.

The weather forecast calls for sunny and 86° at kickoff, plus remember that that stadium is set up so the visiting team bakes in the sun while the fins will be in the shade for a good part of the game

This is nothing like the conditions for that infamous early season game that defeated the bills via dehydration and sunstroke. That game was FL summer weather - 90’s and humid with a heat index of high 90’s. This is the fall. It might be in the 80’s but there will be a breeze and a low heat index. Weather will not be a factor.

Weather.com is saying 86 degrees 72% humidity, 42% chance of showers or thunderstorms - heat index 95-100.

Dolphins still dangerous on offense with Achane, Waddle and their rejuvenated TE, so the defensive injuries a bit worrisome.

Offensively, I hope the pass game takes into a new gear with Palmer and Kincaid both healthy

Julian Hill? Darren Waller is on the IR.

This is slightly off topic, but Allen definitely deserved AFC OPOTY over Lamar. They had almost identical stats, Lamar just got a higher passer rating because his TDs were through the air instead of on the ground (and he had one more in garbage time).

The Dolphins basically quit on that Thursday night game after halftime, while the Chiefs were playing for their season potentially.

Yes, the league has failed to correct that travesty.  Just one more reason to be losing interest in the NFL. I’m not an NFL fan the way I used to be.

These are insane takes to be making on Wednesday

Regardless, if the Bills do not win the Super Bowl this year...

No matter how they are eliminated or who they lose to, the #1 subject/reason will be injuries... just like the season a couple of years ago when we finally hosted the Chiefs in the playoffs.

We're hurting like that season's Bills team.. already.. And that SUCKS

I hear ya Augie—I find I basically have zero interest to watch games the Bills aren’t playing in…not caring as much about the rest of the league, but also bc watching anyone play QB not named Josh Allen is usually a letdown. 🤷

Eh, I'd say it's better to be a little banged up now than 2 months from now.

We've only lost Hoecht & Happ for the full remainder of the season & playoffs.

Sounds like a nice Florida day to me.  Are the Bills the only team that gets baked in Miami and can’t deal with it?

Are the Bills the only team that flies to a Europe game and can’t cope with the Jet lag?

This^.

Pats had to deal with hotter in week 2 in Miami and came out with the win.

Weather is not an excuse. Go beat a 2-7 team no matter how hot it is

The fact is you can find reason for argument no matter what bias you would like to take. Our defense wasn't good enough. Our offense wasnt good enough. The Eagles defense was stacked and came in with a plan that worked.

Our D shut them out in the 3rd quarter. We came away with 6 points. In the 4th quarter we turned the ball over twice on downs. 9 plays 24 yards over 4 minutes of time. Gave them the ball back. That wasn't the game ending drive even. It was the 4th quarter starting drive. It killed almost 1/3 of the clock to get 24 yards and give them the ball back at almost midfield. Then we traded touchdowns. Then they got a field goal. Then we had the ball with all the time in the world to win the game on one last drive and we got 17 yards with 1 first down.

Was our D great? 100% no but it did well enough that our O had the ball with a chance to win the game and the fact is that it couldnt move the ball. I 100% put that game on the offense, just like I 100% put the 13 second game on the defense.  Both sides have had a chance to close the game and neither could close.

The Chiefs offense went something like 2 seasons without putting up 30+ points.

They averaged 22 ppg last year.

The Texans held the to 212 yards in the WC round.  We know what the Eagles did to them.

They scored TD’s on 3 of their first 4 drives against us.  We gave up greater than 50% of 3rd downs.

Our defense sucked.

But yes, you are right we had a chance to win it.  We had the ball last.

And Strong (who was playing significant snaps) and possibly Oliver (tbd). And Rapp. Not sure who Happ is but hope he wasn't impactful 🙃
