This guy is one of the best DT, of not the best, in the league. He just turned 28 years old in July. DT's can play at a high level well into their 30s (Chris Jones is 3 yrs older - 31)

 

He's what Brandon Beane has been after for years. You're lucky if you ever find a guy like him in the draft. 

 

Call the Titans: offer them TJ Sanders a 1st and a 4th.  Would the Titans take the offer? Probably not.  Do you go 1st and 3rd plus Sanders? I'm not sure, that's a lot.  Then again Simmons is a beast and is everything this team needs in the middle.

 

Get it done Brandon. I think he tips the scales in a big way. Take advantage of the Titans being a mess right now. Chances are slim it can be pulled off, but if the offer is heavy enough it's not entirely impossible.

 

C'mon Beane we've got 41 hours. Work those phones

If it were easy,  don't you think it would already have been done?

Do you honestly think that Beane is just sitting there with a legit opportunity to make the team better that he can swing with current cap considerations and is like "nah"?

Bringing in a guy with a big contract is just not likely to happen.

After this season, Jones, Milano, Rapp, Hamlin, Tre and Samuel all roll off.

i believe Sanders is ready but cannot come in quicker as he must be on IR for a minimum for four games.

I wonder if the Broncos would listen to offers for Sutton. There was talk they were shopping him and Jeudy previously. To boot Mims, Franklin and their draft pick Pat Bryant (think he would overtake Courtland’s role) are producing. Especially the first two.

Beane should throw a Hail Mary and Call the soon to be fired Joe schoen and see if they would move Lawrence.  I imagine there is no chance and we can’t really afford him.  
 

the giants defense is loaded with talent and it still sucks.  Maybe Beane could get Lawrence somehow.
