GASabresIUFan Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Thank G-d they won because that 4th and 17 implosion could have cost them the game and would have gone down in Mahomes lore over the Bills. Otherwise a solid win. Still our secondary needs serious work as do our wide outs. Quote

But good grief losing Oliver and Hoecht for what looks like the season for both by week 9 is just brutal luck... Just brutal... It seems like we'll get Oliver back for the playoffs. It's tough - but every team loses one if not more key players by the end of the season. At least most of our injured guys will be back this year. I hate losing Hoecht, but he's really the 1st loss for the rest of the season. Quote

Need more imagination on offense. McDermott put on yet another master class in timeout strategy 😋 That key catch by Cook tonight? His first reception since the SAINTS game. I'm sorry but this is horrible offensive coordinating .. 2 5 Quote

I recall the broadcast also talking about KC allowing a receiver to go over 100+ yards against for the first time in forever too when Kincaid hit 101. 1 Quote

JimBob2232 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Even more than the win - Bishop and Hairston have given me a lot of hope today. We’re going to need to see someone take the next step on DL here. But overall - a very positive win. Only negative was the Hoecht injury. 1 1 Quote

stevewin Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I don't get the Time Out police every game. They are there to use when you need them - The TO at the end of the half likely saved a TD as Bills were able to sub in goal line defense that stuffed the run - For the TO before the 4th and 17, the defense was obviously not ready. After the TO Bosa had a free run at Mahomes but hesitated thinking it was a screen - if he keeps going the play is likely defended successfully - The next TO resulted in an interception It's another thing to question why the defense isn't ready in some situations, requiring burning a TO. One thing to keep in mind is that home crowd noise works against the defense, making it very hard to communicate - and right now the defense is cobbled together including a bunch of young and reserve players. 4 1 1 Quote

Bruffalo Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Losing Hoecht tonight makes the win bittersweet. He’s looked exceptional and without him our pass rush won’t be nearly as effective 1 2 Quote

Hairston and bishop looking good is a bigger positive than those guys going down is a negative so I think cautious optimism isn’t unwarranted. Ed sounds like he thinks he’ll be back for the playoffs at least Quote

RichRiderBills Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago (edited) Agree with Chiefs poster who said this game wasnt as close as it looked. Bills dominated and some outlier prayer plays hit for the chiefs, thanks in part to a hall of fame QB in Mahomie and those burners. Thought Kelsey had some wily plays as well. Chiefs are a good football team and we looked great. I'm not even buying the hate for Po and Tre. They played fine mostly. Its a big boy game and Mahomes is awesome. Of these peanut gallery haters...we hit that FG and you dont hear from them. Its that simple. Only real bad play I regret. Our run game is tough to deal with. So is our Oline and our pass rush. Hairston was the missing link. The kid is legit. On to Miami.... Edited 14 hours ago by RichRiderBills 2 Quote

Didnt just rush three and you saw that Mahomes was rushed and wasn't even able to make it into the end zone. Was in and out this game(don’t judge me). Was McD calling the D? Seemed different from what I saw Quote
