Will we see Hairston "shadowing" Worthy on Sunday??

Think the 12 reps was a test to see how his knee would hold up.  I have a feeling he will play a lot today.

Xavier Worthy is averaging 36 yards per game.   Obviously an elite threat.

Again, it was 27 reps, not 12 reps.

Against the Chiefs I expect McD to get conservative and go back to his old stalwart, the soft shell zone.

EDIT: Hairston had 27 total reps, but 12 coverage reps.

Hairston better be out there shadowing SOMEBODY. Chiefs have speed allover their WR squad. The Bills are slow in the DB department.

We don't have  enough juice play these guys one on one very often.

And really need to disrupt and deep routes early

Simon beat me to it.  I do think Hairston’s snaps will increase, but this is one of McDs best units in years past, so he’ll know what to do.  This is a big test.  Hancock hopefully is learning at light speed from Poyer, and his snaps increase as well.  Tre and Jordan can mentor the youngins so they learn on the fly.

Hancock might be a key piece this week and moving forward. Hopefully he moved in with Rapp and Poyer to study !

well he doesn't have a real 4 man front on the line. So there will be changes.

Worthy is the most overrated player in the nfl I’ve been saying it every week lol he’s ok but gets talked about like he’s prime Jerry rice.  Coleman retained his lead in career receiving yards per game over worthy in this one 😂 

 

if the bills drafted worthy I’m fairly certain he’d be another Curtis Samuel…a lot of his success is Reid wizardry causing busted coverages…we don’t really have that

AND Hairston knows to turn his freakin head around and look for the ball.  So many young CBs just dont do that!!!

Such a pleasant surprise. After being injured in training camp, I thought he would be another Cole Bishop when he returned after his own injury last year. But he's playing like a first-rounder. Exciting to have him, Bishop, and Walker all contributing big time. Wonder if Hancock will stop up. Too bad Dorian Strong was injured; he was looking good, too.
