I am confident this is far from correct. The fact that Allen doesn't throw it deep is not because he can't. Game control is the name of the game. Allen is much farther in the maturation process. Pats won't go deep in the playoffs because this will be an issue 1 Quote

Taro Nimbus Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Everyone is saying the Bills have an easy schedule, but look at the pats! They have a cakewalk. They are essentially a half game up on the Bills and barely beat them due to the Bills shooting them selves in the foot. I am not worried about the Pats. 1 Quote

The current offense may preach ball control but that doesn’t change the fact that Allen isn’t very good at throwing deep balls. 1 Quote

bills6969 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Agree. We’ll need to win at their place in December to have any chance at the division. Their only other losable games are at Bucs and at Ravens. f’ing Tennessee. If it wasn’t for their ineptness, Vrabel would still be HC at Tennessee and Mayo would still be be HC of NE and we likely have the division locked up already. 1 Quote

I had just looked at the Pats remaining schedule and the only opponent missing is a home game against Appalachian State. Sheeesh! Quote

zow2 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Pats vs Colts AFC Championship game? That would piss me off lol... still don't think the Pats have paid their dues long enough from their amazing B & B run of success. Quote

They did a good job against a good Cowboys offense. Nix is another young QB who is developing into a really good player. Edited 1 hour ago by Gregg 1 Quote
Low Positive Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Enought with the fatalism. Everyone here only has a model of a division with one dominant team and three doormats. Yes, the Pats are a lot better and might win the division this year. That was bound to happen when they amassed all those high draft picks and cap space. But that doesn't mean that the Bills time is over and we'll go back to sucking. I live in AFC North country, where there are at least two annual contenders for the division and sometimes three. You have the same situation right now in the NFC North, NFC West, and AFC West. With the way that the NFL is set up, one team dominating a division for a long period of time should be the exception, not the rule. Quote

Maye had probably the best deep ball of all the QB's I've scouted dating back to the Mahomes class. Obviously still very early in his NFL career but not at all surprised that the deep ball has translated the way it has. 1 Quote
Buffalo Ballin Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The real teams to keep our eye on, besides the Chiefs, are the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos. Colts RB Jonathan Taylor is performing at league MVP level and Broncos defense looks like the best in the league. Quote

PayDaBill$ Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Pissing on the Pats isn’t too smart. Excellent head coach & OC, top 10 qb, eye for talent & cap space. That sound you hear is the Bills window closing on an easy route to an eastern conference championship every year. That’s why not taking care of roster holes when we have Josh in his prime is asinine. Go get Thomas Jr. He’s a good fit for a lot reasons. Edited 1 hour ago by PayDaBill$ Quote

When JA17 has it going on he is as good as they come, when not well not so much. Thankfully our run offense and defense carried us yesterday and hopefully can continue until Josh gets back to the form we know he can be as he clearly isn't there the last few weeks. Quote
LarryMadman Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It is extremely hilarious people writing off the Pats as meh and they can't possibly be as good as Buffalo. Vrable is 10x the coach McD is and he finally has a QB, this team is poised to run over Buffalo for years to come. I hate the Pats with a passion but most of those coaches the owner have won so they know what it takes to win whereas our coach, nah, isnt ever going to win anything. Not looking forward to being New Englands B word yet again, WTF! Quote
