It’s sad our season is hanging on a receiver that the chargers didn’t re sign

It’s on a lot more than just a WR. Besides, isn’t every player you sign as a FA one that another team didn’t re sign ?

Most  of his reaches on  Draft picks and Free agents are always hurt. Happens every year. I dont think its a coincidence or bad luck.

Bet at some point this year Keon will go down with some minor injury that will mysteriously sideline him for a long time.

Because they can put somebody else on the roster now to begin getting the reps, even if it's just practice squad.

We are thin in many areas in need bodies just to be on the field during the game.

That roster spot is very important when you consider we have broken glass body scattered across the defensive backfield and lack of quality on the wide receiver corps.

If they are on the practice squad they can well practice. Teams usually wait until the Saturday before a game for these moves.   Plus they already have an open spot on the roster.

Give him an extra few days to see if IR is needed

Is it the training staff or players being made of glass? I think it's the latter.

It's infuriating.

McD says "We'll see" for just about everything.

I don't know if this is really a story. He said the same thing about activating Hairston.

Ugh. He's the only guy with decent separation skills on the outside. In any event, he's not playing against Carolina and I'm guessing at least KC.

Beane, this is your sign to go after a wide receiver. Leverage whatever resources you have to get one. With Palmer down, the Bills no longer have any legit perimeter threats.

My wife said it last year watching a game with me, one of the few times she sat down to watch more than 5 minutes. If the bills start to lose or are down by a touchdown they never seem interested in trying to win or care. They don't have the fight in them

They had the fight in Week 1 down 2 scores in the 4th quarter.

The energy on this team is Josh and McD drains that from this team.  I can't put it into words much better than that.

When Buffalo was driving against a tired Baltimore defense in Week 1, you could see them responding.  I think this play to win by a score mindset the HC wants/has planned for isn't kindling any fire in them.

One of the NFL radios guys was praising San Francisco year after year for having numerous injuries and still putting up a fight every week. It got me thinking how poorly the bills do when they start to get punched around a little bit or dinged up.

See about. I know it's out for 4 weeks but we need people on this roster.

Regarding the “no fight” comment, you did watch the ravens game, right?

I'm aware of the schedule but on to where why you would wait until after the buy to put someone on injured reserve.

Because this entire regime is a clown show

I say dont.  Miss the playoffs and brun it down / rebuild.  QB, RB and OL are in place.

Maybe this is the loophole Beane needs to save face and acquire a WR in a trade. Then he can say "We were set, but that injury forced our hand a bit".

Sorry. I’m too old for the “there’s always next year” mentality. Life is too short. This is the last year in the stadium and I really don’t want to go out with a whimper.
