The Bills' best defensive trait right now is the line and they're now playing basically a statue at QB. If anything this helps the Bills tremendously.

The secondary (read: the soft zone defense) has tons of trouble when the opposing QB is flushed out of the pocket and has to improvise.

I don't see that being a strength of Andy Dalton.

How many times have we seen the Bills take some mediocre player and make him look like a hall of famer?  Once we did it to the entire Steelers bench.

I mean, that was a Mike Mularkey led team from 20 years ago. There is absolutely zero relevance to the Bills of today. The fact is simply that this edition of the Bills defense may not be any good.

Dalton is more concerning to me than Young.

Young is terrible, so obviously I would rather see him start for the Panthers. Still, as Bills fans we’re going to be worried about facing Andy Dalton ? If that’s the case we have no business thinking playoffs in 2025, much less the Super Bowl.

Bryce Young has played pretty well this season.   Actually, he started playing significantly better about the middle of last season.  I'd rather take my chances with Dalton.

I don’t think Young is a good QB, but that doesn’t matter. We don’t have any choice, and neither do the Bills. It’s going to be Dalton. If they can’t design a defensive gameplan to stop him, the problems are likely not correctable this season.

Bryce Young has played pretty well recently and he's a wild card.  He could go off in a game vs the Bills soft secondary while he's running around buying extra time.  Dalton is more of a known quantity, and he is not as good as he was in his prime.  I'm fine with him subbing in.  Stack the box, contain the run.  If the Bills can't beat the Andy Dalton led Panthers, then it's panic mode time.

I don’t care who qbs...this is a mediocre Carolina team. If our "infallible" coaches can't scheme something up to stop an old ass Dalton, then this season will continue to spiral.

Who are you quoting as calling our coaches infallible?

It sounds insane, but this seems to happen far too many times to the Bills.  Far more than normal, it would seem.

If some fans are worried about Dalton, then I can't wait to read the threads when its Mahomes week, Mayfield week, and Hurts week. Those threads should make for some fun reading.

No matter who plays quarterback, if we can’t beat the Panthers after losing two straight and coming off a bye? Might as well crown the Patriots as AFCE champs and get ready to head back to the days of getting excited if we make the “In the hunt” graphic

Not really. They play the team that’s on their schedule. I’m not sure what Andy Dalton has to do with the following week? That’s great news. In the NFL I’ll take an easy W anywhere I can get one. This is huge for McD as he’s never lost 3 straight. I don’t want that’s bad karma

Over the last 3-4 weeks, this fanbase has become more utterly embarrassing than I have ever seen it at any extended stretch in my life.

Just an unbelievably pathetic display of entitlement and cowardice; so pitifully miserable that I am literally on the verge of walking so I don't have to listen to the infantile screeching any longer.
