Chandler#81 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) Coming off a shocking performance where the team let all their faithful down and embarrassed with a lethargic performance before a global audience while showcasing a brand new WHITEOUT look, the Patriots systematically destroyed our hard earned opportunity to have a 3.5 game lead just 5 games in. Now, if we sneeze, we could be in 2nd place looking up.. Yes, our Defense has been just better than abysmal, but this display gutted us with a mistake filled Offensive crash. 10 accepted penalties, 3 turnovers, dropped passes and no holes to run through all 60 minutes. That NE* snuck outta here with a last second winning FG says more about how far they still have to go than how many warts we displayed. But all this can be forgiven if we get back on track and win tonight in front of yet another nationally televised, prime time game in ‘Hotlanta’. We know we’re going to get every opponents A game -their personal Super Bowl as it were, so we can’t lay another egg lest WE become also-ran ourselves! 🫨 We have our Bye next week where injured and suspended players will return afterward and bumps and bruises can heal, but the team MUST re-focus for the Falcons tonight first! Deon Walker has already become a force and is drawing 2 and even 3 blockers! He’s a guy we can’t afford to lose and with reinforcements near, there could really be a significant improvement very soon! He can be the Dr. Jekyl to Ed Oliver’s Mr. Hyde! On Offense, Dalton Kincaid is emerging as the player we hoped he would become. He’s now nearly automatic catching the ball while developing into a capable blocker. He’s currently nursing a minor injury but should be good to go. I’m hoping the OL shakes that forgettable performance and comes out with attitude and grit. Cook is upset and vows to make up for last week. I look for a much more focused game all the way around. NE* won again yesterday, so we’re now in a dogfight for the Division. It’s a two team Division now for the rest of the season. The Bills need to play like it. It may take the whole 12 remaining games to decide so it starts today! As for the Falcons, Michael Penix appears to be the real deal and Atlanta’s best hope to crawl out of oblivion. He’s surrounded by young, quality playmakers in Bijan Robinson & Tyler Allegeier at RB, London & Hodge at WR and Franks & Kyle Pitts at TE. Their Defense is ..well, small. But aggressive. Taking advantage of this and their overall youth is how we can win. NOBODY wants to head into the Bye with 2 straight losses and tied with the Pats*! SO DON’T LET IT HAPPEN! We GOT THIS! GO BILLS! CNYfan Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Big game. This is a big, big game. The Offense cannot sputter because, imo, we are going to need a lot of points to win this one. Big, big game!! Go Bills!!! 1 1 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Hopefully, the sloppy play is in the past. Turnovers and stupid penalties are the only way I see us losing this one. Need to come out strong and not let them hang around. Looking forward to seeing Big Ed play tonight. Let's see if post injury he can dominate like he did in the Ravens game. I think that would settle a lot of people down a bit. Quote
HIT BY SPIKES Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO OUR CANADIAN BILLS BRETHREN!!!! Today is Thanksgiving in our still great country. After the wife monopolized the protein cooking for the past 5 Thanksgivings & leaving only the peasant side dishes to my under-utilized culinary talents, it is MY turn this year. I have made turkey in well over 25+ different ways in my life. Boring. We switched to capons 5+ years ago for Thanksgiving & Christmas. The problem is the ladies of this household will eat it at Thanksgiving Dinner only however the Island Princesses are too good to eat leftovers and I have capon to eat alone for the next week. NOT this year. NOT this year. STOP me if this reminds you of the Ravens Home Opener this year... Three hours ago I took out the 3 Cornish Hens that have been brining in the fridge since Tuesday. I am going to bake them in the Italian Wood Burning Oven. I just finished making the stuffing of wild rice with finally chopped garden vegetables and crumbled up crispy Canadian Bacon. They sure do look a lot like Falcons. Just sayin'. They are mean MF'ers... Edited 2 hours ago by HIT BY SPIKES 4 2 2 Quote

I feel like (especially if Kincaid is out or plays limited snaps because of the oblique) tonight is a Jackson Hawes breakout game. 1 Quote
