The problem is that the QB gets flushed and has a guy wide open because the secondary is dogwater. The other problem is that while the Bills are near the top in PRESSURES they seem very bad at closing the deal with actual sacks. 1 Quote

Truth, he didn't get much help from the wr's nor did the Bills have any answer for the Falcons blitz. Well perhaps if Brady understood the concept of luring the rush in and throwing a screen pass they might have thought twice about blitzing. But he failed to do that last week and tonight. He is a really simple in the box thinker when things dont work. 2 Quote

Success Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Unless Beane gives up on the season - unlikely - he HAS to make a marquee kind of move at the deadline. A true #1 receiver. I don't care what we give up. Herm Edwards just said it - we have NO ONE who scares the opposing team or opposing DC's. If we got a true #1, it would make everyone better. And finally give Josh someone he can get the ball to without forcing into coverage. Quote

I think the sack rate would jump way up if there weren't clear open outs for the opposing QBs almost every play. That being said, yes I agree that they should finish the play. 1 Quote
Nelius Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago How is this post game just now comparing Bijan Robinson to the elite? He had 1400 yards last year and was blue chip coming out, he’s supposed to be this good. It’s not at all surprising 1 Quote
billsfan714 Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Well we have wins against teams with 3 wins combined....thats how good we are. Be like a college power bragging about beating Ball State, Colgate and South Alabama. Thats our reality. 1 Quote

It will be Gabe Davis activated from PS/IR and trading a 4th for someone like Jacobi Meyers Quote
jahnyc Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Unfortunately, Coleman does seem to be a bust. Palmer was having a good game until he was injured, but there really was no one who could step up after, and certainly not Coleman. Shakir is great in the slot, but. as a group, our WRs are not good and having Samuels and Palmer out was too much to overcome. Our safeties are also playing poorly. Bishop may be a border line bust at this point and Rapp would be better as the third safety. I am not sure what Bishop brings to the defense. He misses tackles, takes bad angles and is generally poor in coverage. 3 Quote

We are not just a WR away. We have holes all over the roster. Quote

Tre has no business starting. And injuries are part of a physical sport. WR room is my biggest gripe. Then safety room. Beane should've seen this a mile away, bad decisions IMO. Not end of world. We just need a different vision in front office IMO. Better talent evaluators too. And coaching, on both sides of the ball, must be called into question. By my recollection this was the 3rd straight game Brady has tried to run that little inside reverse at key moments in the game. The first was against NO and the Bills were stuffed for no gain on 4th down. Then the lost fumble against NE and tonight on 3rd & 1 the Bills lose 2 yards and have to punt when they were in position to tie the game. How can a highly compensated NFL coach do that for 3 straight games? Especially considering you have a highly mobile top 3 QB and a very good top 5 RB? 1 1 Quote

Murdox Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago All I heard from the announcers all night is how our pass protection was terrible most of the night and our receivers got little separation once Palmer went down. That seemed correct. Something needs to change. The D - terrible in the first half - turned it around in the second. Quote
Bob in STL Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago (edited) Allen does not have enough talent around him. He has Cook, Shakir and Kincaid. The rest is mediocre stuff. The defense needs impact players at every level but especially in the secondary. Take a rest, get back to work, and keep the faith. Edited 10 hours ago by Bob in STL 1 Quote
