Governor Posted Tuesday at 09:42 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:42 PM The very first thing this team has to do to move forward is get him off the field. No future game plan should involve him. The forced, low percentage throws are killing drives and momentum. 1 2 1 Quote
LabattBlue Posted Tuesday at 09:49 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:49 PM I thought he would be a very good contested catch guy. He has not demonstrated that, and when combined with his lack of separation skills, his career may be limited and shortened. 2 Quote
Dunkirk Donski Posted Tuesday at 10:37 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:37 PM Never thought I’d say this but, when is Gabe Davis healthy? Keon is a #4 WR at best. Gabe would be a slight upgrade. 4 Quote

He's having a pretty decent second season so far. They could have done worse and it looks like they may have. 1 Quote
SoMAn Posted yesterday at 04:50 PM Posted yesterday at 04:50 PM As much as the team and some fans have tried to pump up Coleman, characterizing him as a WR who could be a difference-maker, I haven't seen it from day one. Still don't. He's a #3 at best in my view. For me, he's this version of the Bills Tremaine Edmunds - the guy they desperately want to believe is more than he really is. I'm not buying the 'Everyone Eats' mantra. Josh is an elite QB. PLEASE, find a way to get him big boy weapons, if not this year, next year. 3 Quote

I think you’re spot on. However, every year you have Josh Allen is a year the Bills should contend. Waiting until next year is a waste. They have to make a trade for an offensive weapon. 1 2 1 Quote

oldmanfan Posted yesterday at 05:08 PM Posted yesterday at 05:08 PM Brady needs to put Coleman in positions where he can succeed. Slants would be effective as an example. All they want to do is throw back shoulder on the sidelines. 3 1 1 Quote

In the All 22 Joe Marino breakdown he said that he felt Brady made a game plan, not a good one. Falcons number 1 blitzing team. Yet Brady never had an answer for the blitzes. And he stuck with gameplan, and didn’t change it. Play action is obvious. The first 4 games there little play action, and heavy running. Keon is great in the open field with the ball. Why can’t Brady scheme that? Crossing routes, Keon in slot, rub routes- figure a way for Keon to succeed. The 50/50 balls and back shoulder throws aren’t working. Do something that does. Practice the 50/50 ball until you can win regularly, then do it in a game. 2nd and short- take a deep shot! Seems obvious. Joe running play again almost always. BVBILLS Posted yesterday at 06:52 PM Posted yesterday at 06:52 PM Seems like this coaching staff doesn't care what other teams are doing at all. We could learn a lot from them. 1 Quote
notpolian Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago It kills me when the Bills go to 13 (or 22 with Gilliam but whatever) and have Coleman as the only WR. The defense only has to commit one guy to cover Coleman and his route tree looks like a short stick. If you must have him on the field at least get him to run some different routes. But the better solution is anyone else out there. 1 Quote

You went back to playing patty cakes instead of using your God given size and leaping power. This was the worst game of your career. Worse than getting a football bounced off the side of your head. WTF Keon? Marv Levy said it, best: 'Failing to prepare, is preparing, to fail'. So it went, for the entire team. 1 Quote
dayman Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago (edited) Keon won’t be in the league in 3 years. Not quick enough. In any event he shouldn’t be in the field Josh doesn’t want to throw there anymore. Edited 21 hours ago by dayman Quote

I understand being upset about what we've gotten from Coleman, especially over the past couple games. And I can get with the idea of feeling like he's a lost cause bc he can't get separation. But to call him the 5th Best WR on this team when we've been getting the kind of "contributions" we've been getting from guys like Tyrell Shavers, Elijah Moore, and the often injured Curtis Samuel is total hyperbole. If we had a halfway decent WR core, he could be the 5th Best WR. But he's no worse than #3 with the kind of lacking WR room we have. Which to say he's the 3rd Best WR in one of the worst (if not, the worst) WR rooms in the NFL isn't much of a defense. But to say he's worse than 2/3 of whatTyrell Shavers, Elijah Moore, and Curtis Samuel are bringing is to be purposely obtuse. Edited 16 hours ago by BillsFanForever19 Quote
Big Blitz Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago (edited) Josh isn’t playing up to standard. That’s not helping the current situation. If he was just “good” we would be 6-0 Edited 18 hours ago by Big Blitz Quote
