Diggs was good.  He exploited the short routes and what the defense was giving.  It happens.

When that happens that is a coaching problem.

When he left the game we allowed 17.

Sure it was a bad INT after a bad offensive pass interference by Shakir that took the Bills from a 3rd & 1 to a 2nd & 13.  But cost us the game?  Nonsense.  The ball was at the NE TEN YARD LINE!  Get a 3 & out and the Bills have the ball near midfield.  Allowing the Pats to go 90 yards is what lost the Bills the game. 

 

The fact is that the Pats adjusted much better on the offensive side of the ball then the Bills did on the defensive side of the ball. NE scored TD's on their first 2 possessions of the 2nd half on drives of 71 & 90 yards.  That contributed far more to losing the game then Allen's INT.

They're soft and have zero edge. But what's important is that they are all good friends and make social media videos together and have pizza night at each other's houses.

I see no way this team competes for a Super Bowl as is. Not with this defense. A good team would’ve smoked the Bills tonight, the fact that Josh and the offense still had a chance to win the game at the end (and blew it), is a miracle.

 

IDK how anybody can blame the refs in a game where Buffalo commits three turnovers. They played undisciplined/uninspired on offense, and on defense it was Charmin soft, per usual. There is nothing to like about this defense. Babich has been out of his depth as a play caller from day 1. McD as a play caller is atleast serviceable. He won’t make a change though, bc it’s “just one game”, while ignoring the entire 25 game body of work that shows just how inept Babich truly is at running a defense.

They actually held Maye in check for the most part in the 1st half...he went like 9/16....then went 13/14  in the second half...

Not one pass breakup or contested catch for Pats receivers in the second half.

Forget about anyone being even close to an interception...

White is a definite liability out there, and safties are slow to recognize and close on the ball...not sure how you fix this with the personnel they have

You mean the drive that ended when Josh evaded two defenders and put it right on Shakir's chest for a 1st down but Shakir was tackled before the ball got to him? That drive was going to end in a touchdown if the refs do their jobs on that play.

On that final drive, Allen never passed up easy short passes in favor of home run balls.

 

It didn’t happen.

 

The best you could find is Allen not throwing a 3 yard pass to Cook and getting him blown up.

Idk why people are hung up on that one drive…you can say Josh did everything perfectly right on that drive (I don’t believe he did though) and there were still plenty of mistakes..  might not have mattered due to a penalty anyway but the keeper on the rpo was ridiculous in the first half, threw a terrible INT, and scrambled right into pressure with a clean pocket fairly consistently

 

he was on target a lot when he got throws off for sure but I don’t think he had a good game tbh.  A lot of what was going wrong was things he did while holding the ball though
