TheWei44 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago There are several things I imagine aren't true here: That Sanchez was himself ordering Door Dash That Sanchez was sober That Sanchez is blameless That Sanchez is a super patient, mellow dude when he isn't sober. I may be wrong but those are my hunches! Quote

The violence in this country is such a mess (among other things). Hoping this will be my last year living here fully time The problem is violence has become an acceptable response to political expression or rhetoric that someone disagrees with. Sadly the policies of DAs, judges and the people that keep electing them, prioritize criminals instead of hardworking taxpayers(victims). Cashless bail, not prosecuting violent crimes, defunding and diminishing law enforcement encourages this dangerous trend. 1 4 1 Quote

It’s become very popular for expats Been to Boracay three times, last in 2023. It was awesome every time. Some nice hotels right on the beach with great breakfasts, and some nice restaurants. Lots of bars along the beach with live music if that is your thing at night. You can also relax on the beach at night a bit away from the bars. Probably my favorite spot in the Philippines, although it is a hassle to get there. 1 Quote
Juice_32 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I've been stabbed, it sucks. Hope he recovers quickly and everyone involved can move on. 1 Quote

Don't know the whole story yet though They get second chances when they play. Michael Irvin got chance after chance when he was a star wideout. He got no chances when he was a bumbling idiot on tv. 1 Quote

I’ll be traveling there while already in SE Asia. We’re all about the beach life. 🏖️ 1 Quote

We’re going to SE Asia for approx 6 months. Likely 3 months in Thailand (Bangkok, Hua Hinn and Pattaya one month each), 1 month in DaNang Vietnam, 1 month in Canggu, Bali and 1 month in Malaysia, likely Langkawi and George Town. Then head back to the states for a few months before going to Italy for 6 months. Looking into cefalu, Tropeo, the amalfi coast and around Puglia. Back to states for a bit then eastern Mexico (if it seems safe at the time) and Costa Rica. Hopefully we’ll have some favorite cities by then and will travel between them for 6 months to a year at a time. my wife and I (51 and 46) don’t have children and are in a solid spot financially. We’ve been taking care of my mother for the last 3 years and it’s really made vacations and getting out to see the world difficult. So we decided to see it all when we are able. That’s the plan anyway I’m originally from Buffalo. Moved to AZ in 98’. I come back to Buffalo for about 3 months of the year. I have traveled extensively in SE Asia since 2017 and I really enjoy it there. My favorite country has been Vietnam and I’ll be spending some time in Danang in the next few weeks. I believe that it is a really nice option to be able to spend some time or full time living there. I’ll always have a home base in the US but the people and culture in SE Asia are so much easier on the psyche. Thailand, the Philippines and even Cambodia have advantages. It’s good to hear that other Americans are considering a move there. I actually see very few people from the US. Good luck finding a sports bar that shows American football. 1 Quote

I was born in Dunkirk and moved to Vegas in ‘98 after college. Similar story. Just moved to St. George Utah 2 years ago. Loving it here at the moment, but we’re ready to experience what the world has to offer. Not a fan of cultural climate in the states atm. I’m thinking we’ll be spending the late fall/winters in the states so we can travel the country and watch Bills games. I assume it’s possible to watch YouTubeTV in SE Asia if you have a VPN? Quote
