They still punted 65 times. Sure, anything can stop a drive, a holding call or another penalty etc ... But when I see three straight drives go for a grand total of negative 1 yard and in those three drives James Cook's number wasn't called at all, I start yelling at Brady to wake up from my living room. That was last weeks 2nd Q. Against the better Offenses we face (Ravens, Chiefs etc...) I believe they need to score every time they get the ball as part of "complimentary football", which is a we score they score type deal. Quote

That was last weeks 2nd Q. I understand the frustration, but there is more at stake then a couple of drives. The Bills need to spread the workload. No matter how good Cookie is, the more pounding he takes early in the year the more likely he'll be slowed by injuries later in the year when we need him most. We need to get Davis and Johnson more involved. If they can't do the job, then we need to give Gore a look. Cook and Josh can't carry all the load. It's really that simple. Against a mediocre team like NO, that is a perfect opportunity to try to get Davis and Johnson more involved. I do agree with you that the play calling in those 3 drives was suspect, but that doesn't change the objective, or the overall quality of work done by Brady as our OC. SoTier Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I don't care how good Joe Brady is in the abstract. He has been and is a good OC for the Bills. He's made some mistakes, but everybody makes mistakes. I like his offensive philosophy. I like that his offense takes a lot of pressure off Allen to do super things frequently but gives Allen the freedom to play hero ball when necessary so he always remains a threat. 1 Quote

You misread the thread, misattributed my context, and then confidently accused me of being incompetent. lol Quote

Pecker Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago If one was judging by this patriots game, Brady would be considered one of the worst OCs in the league. Seriously, what’s going on tonight? Quote

Seriously, what’s going on tonight? The Bills supporting cast is playing actually awful, Brady isn’t helping, and Vrabel is a good enough coach to have his guys ready. Quote

Rocbillsfan1 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago ***** terrible half. He has 0 idea how to get WRs involved in the game. He generally has the right idea of style of offense but is terrible in spots with play calling with either terrible momentum trick play calls or being way to conservative Quote

It’s frustrating sometimes, but if the Bills don’t turn the ball over, they almost always win. Quote

Shakir was wide open on that last offensive drive and Josh bailed the pocket right into a sack. He’s throwin absolute lasers when he hangs in the pocket but I think he got a bit rattled around halftime tbh …the drive before that he kept on the rpo tryin to do too much himself when he should’ve handed off. Feels like he knows he’s got time now in this second half though…I think he was pressing a bit earlier Edited 1 hour ago by Generic_Bills_Fan Quote
NoSaint Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago That touchdown play has been ultra reliable. At some point a defense is going to catch on and that’ll be a shame. Quote
Man with No Name Posted 42 minutes ago Posted 42 minutes ago Joe Brady is mid. now we can start being honest in this thread? We haven't had a DOMINATING offense the entire time he's been here. Every game has to be a grind. Quote
