HardyBoy Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago He doesn't have the lateral quickness to be an NBA point guard and he's not big enough or explosive enough to be a small forward...which no knock on Allen, just it's insanely hard to make it to the NBA, much harder than the nfl and obviously the nfl is insanely hard to get to. Not sure if this has been said yet, but the answer is lacrosse hands down...he could be the best lacrosse player ever...he would be absolutely incredible as at long stick or midfield...he wouldnt even need to be that good with the stick to be a short stick d midfielder...but just thinking about him coming around on a sweep from midfield, getting half a step on the defender and boxing him out with his body and unleashing a shot, as hard as he can throw, him with a lax stick...oh man 1 Quote
DapperCam Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago I think he could switch to TE right now and be a good starter without any additional preparation. Quote

Like I would GUARANTEE the first time her tried bowling he broke 150 and had a turkey. First time I went bowling with a friend as a teen he mentioned to me about getting a turkey with three strikes. Ended up happening for me and the turkey flashed on the screen. I asked him, so when do they give me the turkey? He just looked at me and laughed. Unfortunately I wasnt joking 🤣 Edited 18 hours ago by Herc11 1 Quote

I think Josh would be an insane point guard in the NBA with the ability to create offense on his own. A physical freak in the mold of a pre-injury Derek Rose. Football I would say defensive end. With a bulkier frame & the same age as DE. tenacity he shows at QB, I think it’s possible. Would he be forced to change his name as DE. Maybe something like josh mustard Allen 1 Quote

Look at it this way...Josh Allen was basically almost completely missed as a prospect...he didn't go to a ton of football camps, which cost a crap ton of money and travel to attend...now imagine the entire system is designed so essentially only afluent kids can afford to play a sport (soccer) and the whole basis of the system is to make money per player. In Europe and other places, clubs that identify an elite player and develop them, are then able to either keep that player within their organization or they transfer that player to a different club and get a huge transfer fee that allows them to continue developing other players...to make money, in the usa the goal is to get players in the door...in other countries it is find unidentified players with elite potential and get them to be elite...the players identified as having that potential do not have to pay in other countries This is very interesting as one big reason that soccer is the most popular sport in the world is because all you need is a ball and a buddy to play with and you’re good. It’s the ultimate poor and working class people’s sport. Not just in Europe, but Africa and central/South America too. interesting to hear how it’s become a richer persons sport in the states, you only need to hear most of the English players in the premier league speaking to know that they’re definitely not from the educated classes 😆 1 Quote
