Hopefull this is a fun topic for early in the week. There are so many amazing players in the NFL now. Generational talents in many cases.

These are the players that I think will be first ballot HOF in no particular order. Decent mix of offense and defense. Zach Martin retired this year so he is not on the list but he is first ballot HOF for sure. I feel like I am missing other OL and DBs.

Josh Allen

Patrick Mahomes

Aaron Rodgers

Derrick Henry

Mike Evans

Lamar Jackson

Bobbie Wagner

Fred Warner

Trent Williams

Travis Kelce

Chris Jones

Myles Garrett

TJ Watt

Cameron Heyward

Joel Bitonio

Too soon to tell but have a really good chance

Penei Sewell

Ja'marr Chase

Justin Jefferson

Patrick Surtain

Several young QBs that have a lot to prove yet

Probably need to wait until year 2 of eligibility

Matthew Stafford

Lane Johnson

DeAndre Hopkins

I think D Hop gets in right away

if Tyreek chased glory instead of money he could’ve been top 5 in every receiving record by retirement.

Glory doesn’t pay for paternity suits, child support, lawyers, legal fees. Not that he can’t afford it. Though, I could see him going the Antonio Brown post career route.

I didn't say Wayne was a better WR.  There are multiple other players not in the HOF between Hill and Wayne. And yes, Adams, Hopkins, Hill, and DIggs were top 4 WRs in the league at the same time each with different skill sets.

I do think longevity stats matter though especially for WR.

Hill has been a top receiver in the league for a long time, so it’s not like he’s a flash in the pan, and of course, his career is hardly over.  At his peak, Hill was better than Adams, Hopkins or Diggs at their peaks.  He was literally uncoverable, and he almost never dropped a pass.  He also has some impressive kick and punt return credentials from early in his career.  He is a sure-fire hall of fame player.  (I couldn’t care less which ballot he gets in on. That’s not really a thing.)

Jalen Ramsey (please don't shoot the messenger).

3 time 1st team all-pro and won a Super Bowl.  Like him or hate him, the peak for his career was excellent.

Maybe not a 1st ballot guy, but certainly in the HOF conversation.

Oh yea Ramsey gets in. And deserves to as well.

danielle hunter maybe

cam jordan has a shot

Cam Jordan I think will get in but he feels like one of those guys that is a multiple semi finalist before he makes it. Like I can see it being his 5th or 6th time on the shortlist before he is in.

I'd be surprised if Hunter makes it based on what he has done to this point. But if he went on another few seasons piling up stats then the weight of numbers might give him a case.

Gus Swayze—the guy has twin Spandau machine guns worth of an arm, and plays with such heart/guts it out on the field—what with no cartilege left in his knees!!

He's really damaged his reputation the last few years, but what about Russell Wilson?

10x pro bowl, 1x 2nd team all-pro, 1 SB ring.

Every single eligible player with 10+ pro bowls is in the HOF.

(we need an “I, love you, you’re a great person, but would like to counter your point , instead of the I HATE YOU! red X)

Russell Wilson Jr. III was gifted one of the greatest defenses in history to allow his cute little curly haired ass to tuck it and Boston Dynamics stride to a slide, or touch heaven with sky balls of all yardages. Nah, not before Jim McMahon, for so many reasons.

Matt Stafford has a longer wait than most think.

I can't think of a time where he was considered top 3 at the QB position.

Oh, and notice Jets: "None", Patriots: "None", lol.

Calais Campbell is Hall of Fame worthy?

I don’t see him making it but QBs with rings get priority right or wrong

Mostly good list. Disagree with three. Lamb, Kamara, and McCaffrey are not making the HOF.

CMC has a chance if he can stay healthy for 3-4 more years. Dude is definitely Hall of Fame talent.

The emphasis going forward, Derrick Henry aside, is a dual threat running back. Something he’s the best, if not the best at. He’s got a good chance imo.

Russel Wilson? (*shudders)

It increasingly looks like he merely rode a dominating defense to success .  Even his former teammate Sherman is ripping him publicly at this point .  He won’t get in

Russ had some great individual seasons after the defense fell apart.

Sherman has hated him since the interception on the goal line. That’s nothing new.

I think Russ is kinda interesting though, because it does feel like his case gets weaker as the years go on.

Its sorta like if Jalen Hurts had some great individual seasons but didn’t win much, then got old and fell apart.
