It means I'll be teaching the adult Sunday School class.  Our regular teacher takes photos at the game for USA Today.  When the game is a 1 PM, he has to leave for Highmark too early to stay for Sunday School.

Benford has not looked as good this year as in 2024.  The speculation is that's because the Bills have played a lot more man coverage this season thus far.  Mayve Hairston can take some reps when the Bills are in man coverage.

Maybe Hairston can play an NFL snap or two before we start thinking he is taking snaps away from the undisputed CB1 on the team.

Who says Benford has not looked good? He still looks like the best defender the Bills have on the field.

For all his Chief's homerism aside, he now routinely recognizes Allen as a top tier QB.  Sure he still bristles in segments like is "Josh inching closer to Patrick", but even he has a hard time defending Patrick when he throws two backward passes that become fumbles.  Allen is coming.. His game is maturing..  And even a blind faith Patrick homerism can no longer deny it.

 

I know I am in the minority here, but I like Nick.  It is his running mate Brousard I don't care for.

Yep Nick wrights takes are good. Sometimes great. Early on he was public enemy #1 for bills fans. But he was right then.

This is the last 1pm game at the old stadium. So last time to have the most traditional gameday tailgate experience. I have some buddies coming in from various parts of the country solely for this reason.

In all seriousness though Kellen Moore gave the bills defense a lot of problems two years ago when he called plays with a backup quarterback for the chargers. 
 

so the defense is going to have to get stops and maybe takeaways early and make sure it’s not a game.  
 

I would imagine if the bills won the coin toss Sunday they take the ball with the intention of going down and putting the saints behind immediately.

Its not the last 1pm game at the stadium.   They play the Bucs at 1pm at the stadium in November.   I followed up later in the thread to say I understood why the tickets were expensive, just crazy how expensive.

He had a great week 2 against the Jets and was solid against the Fins who boast a top 3-5 WR combo in the league. I think people just remember week 1 where he like almost everyone not named Ed Oliver had a bad week.

They did lose to the Cards 20-13 and the 49ers 26-21 before getting blown out by the Seahawks 44-13. They are capable of playing close games. In my football pool I took the Saints and the points. 16.5 is too much in an NFL game and I can see a scenario where the Bills are up something like 31-10 and then the Saints get a meaningless touchdown in garbage time with the Bills winning 31-17 or something like that. Plus, McDermott is a coach that won't run up the score on an opponent.

I wanted to go to a game in September/October that wasn't a Thursday game and I saw the Saints game figuring the tickets would be the cheapest of the early slate of games. Turns out those tickets were the most expensive...
