Einstein Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I know that some of you may be feeling a little bit down about the way we played in this game tonight. But just remember all of those Bills versus Patriots matchups, where we were very close to beating them, or played tight with them for most of the game, and just could never pull through and beat them. The Patriots won six Super Bowls doing that to us. We will be fine. The fact that we played so poorly at several points tonight, and shanked a kick, and still came away with a 10 point victory … speaks volume. 7 9 1 Quote
GunnerBill Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I know this will sound hollow after the game but I never once thought we were losing that. We were always a break of serve up IMO. 3 4 Quote

Josh is going to let inferior teams beat themselves, just like Brady used to do. It has happened two games in a row. 1 Quote

Billsfanatic8989 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) The Patriots had the Bills number while Buffalo has Miami's right now. But unfortunately that is where the comparisons end. They usually had a top ten D that could stop top tier QB's in the postseason. Not even mentioning the SB's. Edited 1 hour ago by Billsfanatic8989 1 Quote

McDaniel is goofy, but he called a fantastic game. It’s the players who ultimately lost. I understand the roughing the kicker penalty and how hard it is to stop your entire body momentum, but the interception was inexcusable. McDaniel threw everything he had at us and put Miami in position to tie it up and possibly win if they went for 2. I actually gained some respect for their coach. 1 Quote
Einstein Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Only one small caveat I will add to my original post… I am slightly concerned about Tre White. He was essentially playing his own personal prevent defense the entire game. I felt like the Dolphins could just throw at his direction whenever they wanted and he would give up 5 to 10 yards and just push the his receiver out of bounds. 1 Quote
Nelius Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago We’ve got fans complaining after 3-0. How sweet it is eh. I remember paying good money for 20 point prime time Jets beat downs. It’s Thursday, it’s divisional, it’s weird. Good teams win. 2 1 Quote

Yes, they did let bad teams beat themselves. But they won when it mattered most. I don't think we can compare ourselves to what they were at all. Not yet. Quote

letsgoteam Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Thursday games are tough, I think their stupid. Win or lose, its crazy to expect teams to be able to go on 3 days rest. 1 Quote

Hairston is only out one more week and can then begin practicing. With our upcoming schedule he’ll have plenty of time to get into the swing of things. Have faith. 1 Quote

I think McD and Babich probably aren't losing any sleep about the secondary. The soft zone defense is an intentional choice and they wanted low event football. That's what soft zone will get you. I do think they'll be frustrated with the D-Line however. We got a lot of penetration but it wasn't effective often enough. We're missing guys there and the ones we have are young and learning on the job, so I think there's a lot of room to grow. Deone Walker flashed enough tonight for me to really take notice. Quote
transient Posted 59 minutes ago Posted 59 minutes ago Division rival on the ropes at 0-2 and always play us close early in the year… this was not the game we wanted to see, but I’m hardly surprised that it’s the game we got. 3-0 is 3-0 no matter how you get there. GO BILLS!!! Quote
