With the prevailing presumption being McDaniels is fired if he loses, does McD run the score up to seemingly secure that? Or take it easy and make it seem closer? Also will be interesting seeing how the phins play with the possibility their head coaches job on the line? I feel there are enough players on that team sick of mcdaniels that they don’t give the best effort. McDaniels has always shown McDermott a lot of respect. I would see no reason he would run up the score, if that opportunity presents itself. Why would you want a competitor whom you always beat replaced anyway?

It’s hard yakker this time of the season to essentially sacrifice a night’s sleep. Even more so it being a Thursday night game which tend to be mediocre at best. Whatever. Enjoy the game and result now matter how you plan to watch. Go Bills. For the opener, I was at a place that had very limited internet access, and it got turned off at halftime. I went to bed certain they had lost. Imagine my surprise when I woke up and found out several hours later that day what had happened. When I finally watched the replay of the game, I was on the edge of my seat even though I knew the outcome. Sleep well, and check it out in the morning. 1

Humble and hungry, stay focused, buckle up and take care of business. Big game, important game, big game. Go Bills!! I agree. While it is true that Buffalo has handled Tyreek Hill and the Miami Dolphins and on paper this seems like an easy win, you still have to play the game. Miami is in desperation mode. There is a sense that Mike McDaniel's job could be on the line if Miami starts out 0-3. This game is their chance to turn their season around and they will do anything they can to make it happen. Rubes Posted Thursday at 04:13 PM Posted Thursday at 04:13 PM Indications Waddle will probably play tonight... NFL news roundup: Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle to test shoulder ahead of Bills game Quote INJURIES WR Jaylen Waddle, who is questionable to play, will test his injured shoulder ahead of Thursday night's game, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Good Morning Football. There is optimism that Waddle will play against Buffalo.
Special K Posted Thursday at 04:15 PM Posted Thursday at 04:15 PM The Bills can just roll out of bed and still score 20 points against the Fins, and we all know they will be more prepared than that. These lesser teams are just not good enough to compete with the Bills......they might keep it close for a while, but I don't even think they will be able to do that, IMO. Go Bills!!! 1
Nitro Posted Thursday at 04:16 PM Posted Thursday at 04:16 PM This game seems to be a beat down by the Bills. Forty burger served to the dolphins. I am not worried about the Dolphins.
SCBills Posted Thursday at 04:21 PM Posted Thursday at 04:21 PM It’s wild to see how apprehensive most have been about the first two games, to now.. everyone thinks we win by 40 points. We might. But, imo, this game comes down to the first half. If Miami keeps it close at half, it will be a game. If we’re up multiple scores at half, they likely give up. 1
WotAGuy Posted Thursday at 04:22 PM Posted Thursday at 04:22 PM I am impressed that McDermott tempered the players’ arrogance after an epic comeback win and had them deliver a businesslike beatdown against a team that always puts up a fight. This week, I think the players show their maturity and determination with a similar businesslike win at home. 1

Special K Posted Thursday at 04:25 PM Posted Thursday at 04:25 PM I love Miami week down here in Florida.....I always put up my Bills flag on Gamedays, and I have a few Fins fans on my street that I know are annoyed by this. Therefore, I purposely got up early this morning to make sure the flag was on full display before they left for work in the morning!😂😂 2
zow2 Posted Thursday at 04:27 PM Posted Thursday at 04:27 PM I went to the Fins game in Orchard Park last season. I had the same feeling that people do now. We were going to steamroll them 40-10. But guess what, Miami went up and down the field on our D, used their speed and quick passing game, and they were in the game all the way until Bass hit a career long FG. Everyone knows a Bills blowout tonight will result in Miami firing their head coach and maybe even the GM. I think the fish play hard and make this a game but ultimately they cannot stop Allen, our Oline and running backs. The Bills will win comfortably...something like 37-24 but Miami will move the ball well enough to really annoy some people on this board. 1

BillsFan130 Posted Thursday at 04:34 PM Posted Thursday at 04:34 PM Got a feeling this one will be controlled by the bills, but also closer than we may think. Miami is coming off a ton of plays defensively in the hot sun, now on a short week. I think Joe Brady is gonna try to wear them down in the run game. Predicting First 2-3 quarters will be close, but bills pull away a bit in the 4th. We shall see

All too self-aware and defeated. Tua saying he cant do half of what Josh does really set them off in the funniest way. He isnt wrong, but you dont say that. Bills by a Billion tonight. The morning guys on WGR said that they talked to a friend who does hospitality for the stadium and saw the team. Said they just don't seem happy or like they want to be there. I fire ross now. I roll with McDaniel, I trade hill and anyone I can. Then fire him with picks for the new year.
TheBrownBear Posted Thursday at 04:38 PM Posted Thursday at 04:38 PM Rarely feel this way, but I think the Bills steamroll the Fins tonight. Just a hunch. Not sure where to drop this, but Alaina posted a nice little article about Josh on ESPN this morning: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/42445869/buffalo-bills-josh-allen-new-perspective-2025-season

It’s simply not his concern and NFL HCs are a fraternity unless there’s otherwise a source of conflict. Not specifically to get him fired. Not McD’s way for sure. More of does McD keep the score down in a game they have in hand as to not make it look worse for mcdaniels? Problem is, if the phins give a lackluster effort it probably means he loses his job if they lose regardless of final score.
