vanhalen26 Posted September 16 Posted September 16 We attend nearly all. Might have to miss my first in 3 years this year (Eagles unfortunately). 2.5 hour drive to the game for us which isn’t bad. Wondering how many people attend some vs all? Quote

I avoid the home opener, but i try to make the playoff games. I kinda prefer the cold. I will be going this thursday though - Squish the fish! Quote
gonzo1105 Posted September 16 Posted September 16 None anymore, moved out of state. Used to have seasons and did attend every game unless I hated the weather for the game Quote
Chicharito Posted September 16 Posted September 16 I plan for all 8 or 9 but usually miss one do to my hunting obsession. Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Zero I used to have season tickets and I gave them up. Between the traffic and temperatures it just became unenjoyable for me to attend in person. Mix in it seemed no matter where I sat most of the game was spent having to stand and let some fat dude skim past so they can go get more beer and all the younger people making sure they get their photos for social media right in front of me...I'm more than happy to stay home and watch on TV. The Jokeman Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Zero, I haven't been to a game since Thad Lewis vs the Bengals. Like @BuffaloBillyG the traffic and weather just meh. I was never a big tailgate guy as would usually meet up with friends the night before the game and then go to get into the stadium maybe 30 minutes before kickoff and leave after the final whistle. 1 Quote
stevewin Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Live out of town, go to one game a year - the game closest to the beginning of Oct. For 30+ years my brother and I have flown up to take my Dad to a game for his bday. We then started bringing our sons when they were 6-7 yrs old. He's 91 this year - he looks forward to it every year (as do we) 1 1 Quote
Gregg Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Living in NJ I try to get to one a year. Definitely want to get to one this year being it's the last year in the current stadium. Next year as well since I am curious to see what the new stadium will look like. Quote
rm -rf /* Posted September 16 Posted September 16 None, going to my first one Thursday night. Had to see a game at Highmark before it's gone. I never miss them if they are in Green Bay and have been to a bunch of great games in KC over the last forty years. Quote
Mr Info Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Long time season ticket holder (4 tix: 2 clubs & 2 lower bowls) from VA. We average about 6 games/yr. Usually try to fly as I have plenty of FF miles from work. I have family in WNY as well and use the game trips for visit time with the family. Quote
Bruffalo Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Usually one a season now, generally a snow game. My kid is too young to go to a home game and enjoy it, so I usually watch on the couch with him and stress text my friend group chat throughout the game. Growing up my dad had season tickets so I'd go to ~5 a year. I do enjoy the tailgate atmosphere and wish I could go more. Quote
RiotAct Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Usually 3 to 5 including playoffs… expect that # to drop significantly starting next season. Quote
gmanbfan Posted September 16 Posted September 16 4 games a year. I'm a season ticket holder, but it's been nice as of late because there are lots of people willing to take my tickets. 2.5 hrs drive, so the night games this year have made it a bit tougher. But I also attend at least one road game a year. Atlanta and Miami this year! Quote
BillsPride12 Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Season ticket holder but usually only do 5 or 6 of the regular season games plus any playoff games we have now 1 Quote
Augie Posted September 16 Posted September 16 (edited) I try to go to the home opener and one relatively convenient or interesting road game every year. Honestly, the experience is so good at home that is the max I’d want to do in person. I’m getting too old for 7 hours tailgates. EDIT: My road game this year is in my backyard in ATL, but it’s our 2nd night game of the year. I prefer day games, but that was not meant to be this year. . Edited September 16 by Augie Quote

It's such a surreal feeling. I know you have been to other stadiums, but when you head to your seats and go from the concourse to the tunnel and see, in person, the big Buffalo emblem at midfield, it truly is breathtaking. Enjoy every minute of it! 1 Quote
SoMAn Posted September 16 Posted September 16 I live in Atlanta, but had season tickets for a couple of years during the Super Bowl run. I went to every home opener for many years, going back to early 80s, up until 2008. When the economy went to hell around that time, the budget was tight (both my wife and myself were in job transition-mode), and haven't been to a game since. It used to be reasonably inexpensive for round-trip flights. Using AirTran Amex, i could buy a RT ticket for $119. With that card, we received a 4th RT flight after purchasing 3. So, I could effectively have 4 RT flights for under $350. That was before all the stupid nickel and diming for baggage and seat choices. I can't usually get a single non-stop flight for under $350 today. I still had my parents homes and cars available during those trips. Now, it costs a fortune for hotels and car rental. Was hoping to get up there this year, but probably won't make it to Orchard Park. Already have tickets for Monday nighter in Atlanta. I plan to make it to the new Highmark next year. I'd want to be one of the few who fit this sub-group of Bills fans (mostly boomers) who can say they bridged the Bills' 3 home stadiums, starting with War Memorial, then to Rich Stadium, and finally new Highmark. On October 13, I'll be able claim seeing the Bills in 3 different Atlanta Falcon home stadiums. Quote

I generally do one road game a year as well(different venue each year) but I am taking a year off. Had a rough year financially but also a good year to focus on getting to as many home games as possible being the finale season. 1 Quote
