It was amazing how disinterested the Jets looked in week 2 at home against a division rival. Looks like they were already planning January Golf trips.

Just rewatched the game. That ridiculous Cook run sucked the air out of them from the looks of it. After that it seemed like they were going through the motions. 
 

Also, going by talking heads and post game analysts, the Justin Fields hype train has completely derailed… Do we not get any credit for some quality players on that unit that when playing cohesively, are a solid group.

Exactly. Many were happy with what he ended up getting. The problem was many presumed he was going wanting a record setting positional contract or close to the top 2 of CMC and Saquon. 

I myself was in that group. Love Cook but I’m not a fan of paying a RB $15m+ p/y

Fred never had a QB like Josh nor an OL like this.  But I enjoy watching Cook and am glad he got paid.

Beane gave him more pieces to work with this year. The young defenders on the DL looked good. Young DL players take time to develop.

Tre looked like he was moving as good as he was pre ACL. 

Bosa looks like the complimentary edge rusher they have needed for years!

Rapp and Bishop didnt embarass themselves this week.

Tua, Waddle, Achane, and Hill will present a tougher test. I like our DL against Miami OL though. I really like our OL against their defense. Look for another 200 yard rush effort! 

 

 

 

Generally speaking, McD can scheme well enough to shut down bad QBs, but doesn't have the athletes to routinely succeed against offenses with elite players.

Love Knox but there's really no reason for this not to be his final year with the Bills. Time to move on.

Same. I was at that playoff game in 2021 vs the Patriots. He had some incredible moments but he has never lived up to that  contract. He's a perfectly good guy but that return on investment just isn't there

Yes, exactly, it's only been two games.

 

The Bills defense has played 80 snaps thus far.

Walker currently has a 25% snap count, which means he has had a total of 20 snaps.

Sanders currently has a 31% snap count, which means 24 total snaps.

 

Walker had two solo tackles today and Sanders got one solo tackle today. But, they are rookies in the first 20 snaps of their careers. How much are you expecting from them this early? And I thought at the end of the game today that Sanders actually looked pretty active (despite only 1 tackle). With all rookies, it's a process. I mean, there aren't a lot of 2nd and 4th round picks that look like pro bowlers in their first two games/first 20 snaps in the league.

Also kind of feels like Prater beat out Bass for the job today. Perfect again and answered any questions about his ability to hit from distance with that 52 yarder.

you can get the same production from Knox than you can from any number of 1-year low price contract vets.  Looks like the same will be said with Kincaid. Both guys are solid TEs, not guys you sign to multi-year deals.

 

edit: eg, Tyler Conklin is on a 1-year/$3 Million deal.
