A TD there effectively ends the game, and they decided to get the 3 and play it safe. McDermott in a microcosm.

Weak play call right there, they need to be playing for touchdowns and going for the kill shot

Playing offense like that makes your players feel uninspired & emotionless-

I understand the game plan. Get a nice lead and make Fields throw, good plan.

 

But man, you have an opportunity to rip their heart out early in the 3rd and your play calling is really this conservative.
