Reks Ryan Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Smart move for the Eagles. Trying to protect Barkley from getting close to 400 touches again this season. 1 1 Quote

BuffaloBillyG Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Must mean that Shipley kid is gonna be out a while. They also have AJ Dillion. I think the Jags got hoses a bit here. Tank is more valuable than a couple of day 3 picks next year... especially if ETN misses any time. Quote
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 9 Posted September 9 How is it that we are cap-strapped to make moves on this order but the Eagles, who arguably have more stars on their squad are not? 1 1 Quote

I really like McBeane but my main gripe is they hold onto guys too long they’re attached to and then those guys kill us when it counts and we can’t get over the hump. Quote

Cause they pay for star players, and we pay for B+ players. Also we rarely make a trade unless it’s for a need, so we tend to overpay. Eagles will make a trade for a good player on the cheap just because they can 🤷♂️ Quote

Because Dom DiSandro and a few of the boys know who to visit after hours. Some visits involve suitcases of money, some visits involve 'friendly persuasion'. 😳😁 Quote
frostbitmic Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Super Bowl Champions not sitting back and resting when it comes to their team. Bigsby won't cost much and he improves their roster... Solid move. 1 Quote

Sierra Foothills Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Relevant to this conversation, the Eagles also signed free agent pass rusher Za'Darius Smith yesterday. Smith has 69 career sacks in 10 seasons and had 4 sacks in 8 games last year. 1 Quote

HOUSE Posted September 9 Posted September 9 (edited) We dont need Jabril Peppers or Christian Wilkens , they would just gum up the works Our defense is going strong anyway... Edited September 9 by HOUSE 1 1 Quote
henry jones Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Point being, the Eagles have been trying to stay one step ahead. There HAS to be a team out there looking to part with someone on the defensive side of the ball that could be a significant upgrade to what we have. Cap wise... there are ways to make it happen. We don't shore up this defense and we are toast, yet again, in the playoffs. 3 Quote
