zow2 Posted September 12 Posted September 12 The Oliver injury sucks but I think the team can overcome the Jets and Miami. The others guys will step in and show up. We have some good DT's. As we've all talked about before, there's only one player on the Bills that they cannot survive without. Quote

colin Posted September 12 Posted September 12 this is where the suspensions to our new dlinemen bite us, would be great to have the rest of them there ready to play Quote

Yeah agree, and McDermott has some options. Oliver made a couple game altering plays the other night. No question. But from the 30,000 foot view the Bills gave up a disgusting 238 rushing yards to the Ravens. That can't happen again this week and it won't. They will show improvement and maybe one of the fill-ins for Big Ed can make a big play. Quote
PoundingDog Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Another nail-biting game this weekend! Man I was looking for some relaxing time Sunday afternoon... Quote
appoo Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Jets were clocking Steeler defensive lineman in the run game. Weird time to be alive here I’m worried about the Jets offense but not their defense Quote
Bills!Win! Posted September 12 Posted September 12 (edited) To make my self feel better, every week I’m pretending that Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry play for our opponent I’m also pretending that Henry and Jackson are both out for the jets. It makes me feel way better. You should all try it. Edited September 12 by Bills!Win! 2 3 Quote

If Dan Feeney goes down with an injury, pack it in and try again next year 1 Quote

No Harmon (1st rounder), no Herbig (their #3 DE/OLB), and Cam who finally started to get live reps. Not saying to take the Jets lightly, but I think there is a combination of many things contributing to Steelers game. Lets see how our coaching adjusts this week Quote
Process Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Last year we had a crap ton of in season injuries and ended up going into the playoffs 100% healthy. Going to try and not get worked up about injuries unless we start losing guys for the season. Especially during this next 6 game stretch. 1 Quote
Special K Posted September 12 Posted September 12 It's probably smart to sit Oliver and Tre this week, so they can be ready for the Thursday night game. They don't want these injured guys to have to play Sunday then Thursday......plus if they play Thursday, they will have extra recovery time before the next game. We'll see what they decide. 1 Quote

Billsfed1 Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Shoot…was hoping to see Big Ed vs Fireman Ed. Oh well, as the injuries come about it’s more important you sit the guys that need it, we’ll be fine. There’s capable guys behind him and this will give our rooks the all important experience they need for us to get truly deep at the position. Quote
Scott7975 Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Sucks about Oliver but at least its during a cupcake portion of schedule. Hopefully he heals fast. Quote

Bleeding Bills Blue Posted September 12 Posted September 12 While fields is an athlete, and a threat to run in read-option plays, he doesn't have the same throwing ability as LJ. Fields has a good arm, but is a bit more scattershot in his throws, isn't as accurate on the move, and his release is slower. He (like a young josh) struggles to throw people open, and will sail some. His pocket presence has been a weakness as well. As for hall, he's not derrick henry. Which is a good thing. 1 hour ago, MasterStrategist said: Like us, Steelers had some injury issues up front too. Week 1 happens and i feel like the game-to-game preparation and practices ramp up a bit. 1 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Interesting they list Hancock as "DB" I like that Quote
