Tough for him, but he wasn't playing well. The Bills had tried to convert him to a one-tech and it wasn't working. Some thought he kept a roster spot this year largely due to his third-round status.

A league source told The Buffalo News on Sunday that second-year defensive tackle DeWayne Carter tore his Achilles tendon during Wednesday’s practice and will miss the year. The news was first reported by NFL reporter Jordan Schultz.

I agree with others that the drop off to Logue/Phillips probably wont be noticeable. But does anyone want to pretend to know anything about other teams practice squads - we could swipe someone else for the active roster and keep Logue/Phillips on the practice squad as well. 
Who’s out there that would be interesting?
